How do I change the oil filter on a 2005 Accord without making a mess? by Ben
The oil filter on my 2005 Accord (4 cyl) is tucked away in a way that whenever I remove it, oil gets over everything. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to do this without making a mess? Many thanks in advance, -Ben

Why I bought 2007 Civic LX, don't read if you don't like a long post by Rowdy Yates
I am picking up this car tomorrow. Here is just my opinion on the car buying experience so that others can learn or laugh or ignore or comment. Friday I go to local Honda dealer to start the process. I was going to buy a Civic, at least that was my intention. All based on other owners...

'07 Accord A/C vent temps differ by Norman Maunz
I have an '07 Accord LX with standard A/C, not Climate Control. Bought the car in January. The temperature of the air blowing out of the left vents is nowhere near the temperature of the air blowing out of the right vents. When driving 40-60 mph for ten minutes, the right center vent blows air at...

I have a very unique problem at hand. My 91 accord starts well, the engine works nicely and i just replaced spark plug wires, radiator, alternator, and air filter. I drove her up and down a mountain a lot this winter, and she sat in the cold wind of a mountain for 2 months solid, with only a little...

Turning off the damn "check engine" light? by Paul Ciszek
Every time I start my Civic on a steep downhill slope at high altitude, the "check engine" light come on. It costs $80 bucks to find out nothing is wrong and get the light turned off. Is there any cheaper way to get it turned off? I need that indicator in case something were to *actually* go...

Honda Accord coupe 2003 by [email protected]
I have a Honda Accord coupe 2003, my headlight level is not the same for both side. The headlight at passenger side is higher than the headlight on the driver side. I wonder how I adjust the height of the headlight.

Honda CR-V by Just Facts
FYI: I've been looking at this very nice vehicle, but one design item will keep me from buying it just now. That is the lack of a second non electrical way to open the rear hatch. The only way to open it is by electrical means, the power latch. Tough when you store your battery jumper cables in...

Buying a 2007 Civic LX tips? by Brian Beuchaw
Hello all, My 94 Saturn SC1's life has been nice, but it's time for a new car and I'm leaning towards a 2007 Civic LX coupe. I was going to get a DX, but would've had to add a CD player, and since more nice stuff comes with the LX for not much more than the CD player would've cost, I figure...

Passport / Trooper by KaiS.
Thanks for the answers. The local Honda service manager told me Honda returned the favor and rebadged their Odyssey for Isuzu so he keeps one Isuzu tech on staff for the crossbreeds. Found the Trooper in Consumer Reports. '98 was the best year earning an an overall average but got worse from...

Integra '93 - won't start by aerorea
I have an Integra 93 with 120K miles on it, and a lot of rust, thanks to the Vermont roads. About four months ago, while driving on highway, my car had a sudden and short power loss: the tachometer fell to zero, but then the car kept going for another month (100 miles or so) with no starting...

Lots of work on a 99 Accord by [email protected]
I bought my 99 Accord LC, 4 cyl, 5-speed in October of 1998. After 8 1/2 years the car has approx 158k miles on it. Other than tires, brakes, regular oil changes and a tune-up at 95k miles the car has never had any major work done to it. The ignition switch was replaced as part of the recall...
