250 gal pond and need most efficent pump by Lyn
Hi, I want a pump that will cost the least to run since it will be running fairly constantly. I plan mostly a water garden so I will probably have lots of leaves dropping into water. I will also keep mosquito fish in it. Any filter considerations welcome!!! So any recommendations for 250 gal....

Acidic Pond by Tiff
I have a friend with a small pond with goldfish. He is having a problem with the acidity level being too high. He test the water and gets the level to the proper spec but after about 2 weeks the water is acidic again. Any else had this problem? Can anyone advise? Cheers Tiff

Advice on Chemical Levels by SA
Hopefully someone can shed some light on this ... I have had a few dead fish which led me to check the chemical levels in my pond (using the same kit I have for my tropical tank) and this is my area of concern. pH 8.8+ (that's as high as my scale goes) Amonia 0ppm Nitrite 0-0.25ppm
