After a minor accident (just some bumper damage) where I was rear- ended, my 94 accord EX (4 cyl vtec) is running rough. It misses from 1,900-2,200 RPM under load. Without load, it is fine. The car has ~230,000 miles on it. No CEL. Mileage has dropped from 32MPG to 28MPG after the...

Power Steering fluid? by Nino Nospam
How often should one change his power-steering fluid? I have 85,000 KMS on my 2003 CR-V. Do I really need to use the expensive OEM dealer fluid or can I get a generic brand? Also, do I just replace what's in the reservoir, or do I need to pump all the fluid out? Thanks!

A/T skipping 1st gear by Dabbler
My '94 Accord LX never had a transmission problem before but today, after a short stop, I had a hard time getting the car rolling. It was as if you tried to start a manual transmission car in the 3rd gear. So the 1st and possibly even the 2nd gear was skipped. Also, the A/T speed indicator in...

$100 Gas Voucher by [email protected]
I just discovered this new site that's giving away a $100 gas voucher, for free! Can you believe the price of gas these days? In my area it's currently over $4.75 per gallon, and all signs point to it going even higher, very soon. I remember the days when gas used to cost $0.99 per gallon, but...

Hello, Group: I'm quite the novice when it comes to working on cars, but can do minor things like change the brake pads or oil. My car is leaking oil, and after having the oil pan gasket replaced, we suspect it's the oil pan. I'd like to save the money and buy the oil pan and replace it...
