Guppy flu?!? by Elaine T
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA256 I had the oddest thing happen to my guppy tank. I goofed and exposed them to water from a friend's guppy tank after a show last weekend. Three days later, last Wednesday, every single adult and half-grown guppy was shimmying at the water surface...

Damaged tail by Jennie Kermode
One of my weather loaches, Juniper, was seriously ill with an internal bacterial infection six months ago. She pulled through, but contracted a secondary finrot infection. Fortunately, the damage caused by this was minor, and it was fairly easily treated. However, ever since this she has suffered...

I have a cute cellophane female betta and she is totally putting the rest of the guys to shame with her nesting prowess! What gives? LOL She was in a "community" tank with a couple of other females when I got her (got another female from the same tank, not one bubble from her) but dang she's a...

Excel Flourish vs DIY CO2 by Larry
Can anyone tell me if the Excel Flourish can do as well (for my plants) as the DIY. I think my tank is fertilized enough and the light source is good but the plants are just ok. Should I go back to DIY and if so is there another way other than mixing a new batch every other week or so? TIA Larry

Ram going dark by Ali Day
Hi, I know a couple of you have Rams (Bolivian / ramirezi) so a quick question. Two nights ago I noticed that one of my rams looked a bit dark round the head area. He was eating fine, looked OK maybe a bit thinner than the other one, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I lost a discus a while back...

Otomagic by Bill Stock
I bought 9 Otos last Friday and put them in my 10 gallon to let them ride out the quarantine before I move most of them to the big tank. This tank was really covered in Algae, so I figured I was good for quite a while before they ran out of food. Besides, they've never proven that effective in...

I have a few Gouramis in my planted community tank, 75g. I guess it's been set up for close to 3 months now, it's been pretty stable no deaths in a while. Last week I added two new fish though, 2 African butterfly fish. It's probably a little overstocked, 7 gourami, 6 rosy barbs, 3 danios, 4...
