Has anyone had an Accord 4cyl 2005+ with a manual transmission? by
alfred
Hello,
I was wondering how the transmission being a manual is like to drive? Is it
as smooth as they say? I mean as far as when you let out the clutch and what
about the shifting? Are the gates well defined or mushy?
I had a 1990 Miata 5 speed and the shifting actually made a click sound when...

Problem changing timing belt on 89 Civic by
newbie
I tried to change the timing belt on my 89 Civic, I got as far as the
crankshaft flywheel/pulley but the nut that secured it to the
crankshaft is so tight that no matter what we did, me and my friend
can't get it to loosen, does anyone have any idea how to do this?
Is it one of those bolts that...

Maintenance Required light by
help-slip-franklin
Hi all,
2004 Accord. The maintenance required light came on yesterday at startup and
goes out after 10 blinks. My research tells me this is the built-in
notification to have service done (i.e. oil change) but I do that type of
service my self. Car has 55K miles and was just serviced one month...

Replacement Shcok Absorber/Strut Advice ?? by
[email protected]
I have 208K miles on my 2001 Civic, and need new shocks and struts.
This is a straight commuter car..110 miles per workday. I'm wondering
if the Monroe Sensatrack shocks/struts sold by Tire dealers, or similar
brands are good or should I pay the premium price and go with Honda
OEM. I need a good...

Honda to settle transmission lawsuit by
[email protected]
Looks like Honda may agree to out-of-court settlement that heavily
favors... you guessed it ... Honda. On one hand Honda will extend the
warranty, but Honda still decides if you need a replacement, so guess
what Honda's going to do?

Is the FIT a reliable car? by
alfred
I was considering the FIT Sport auto for my next car in 2008. Has anyone had
any troubles with their FIT's at this point and if so what happened? What is
the ride, noise levels and comfort like? How about the stereo, engine
performance etc?
Thanks,
Al

Gerry
I have a 1992 Honda Civic with power steering and wish to replace the
drivers side inner tie rod. I have the factory manual which shows the
inner tie rod being removed after the rack was removed from the car.
Can I remove the inner tie rod without removeing the rack from the car?

Honda Transmission Settlement by
rick wintomac
When I received the notice about the transmission settlement, the
notice explained that the warranty is extended 9000 miles to 109,000.
As far as I have warranty documents for my 2000 Accord, the powertrain
warranty is 36 mo / 36,000 mi.
Is the settlement 109,000 total, or is it +9,000?
Did...

Any Massachusetts Honda dealers reading this? by
Mikhail T.
I've given up trying to get Honda dealers to respond to my request for a
quote via e-mail. I suspect, an average one just doesn't know how to use
it. Judging by their Flash-heavy web-sites, their IT-departments value
presentation ONLY, caring little for the utility :-(
So... I'd like a quote on...

ABS light... by
Dangerousdt
Hey guys,
My ABS light came on on my '92 Accord EX with 178k mi. on it. I took
it to a mechanic and he said that the pump has to be replaced which
sounds about right considering the age and usage of the car. Thing is I
don't want to spend $1100 on the pump for a $2000 car. My question is
if...

2000 Civic Misfire Even After Tune Up? by

I've got a 2000 Civic. At high RPMs (just prior to shifting or highway
speeds) it misfires...sometimes a little and sometimes alot. OBD codes
show misfires in each cylinder. (Not alot of helpful info!) I
replaced plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and PCV valve. It still misses and
the OBD light is...

entire car to fill the spare tire compartment up to halfway of the
