Dodge Caravan Brakes sticking by
Hans
My 99 caravan has a problem where the Brakes get "stuck". It happens
intermittentely...
I recently replaced both calipers, (I assumed they were frozen) because
of this problem. Now, it still happens...On one occasion, my wife came
out from shopping and noticed that the brake lights were lit (as...

F150 Headlight Switch Shaft by
Jeff C
Folks I'm replacing my 1993 F150 headlight switch. I have the old one
out and the new one side by side. The new one did not come with the
shaft for the knob. How do I remove the shaft from the assembly and
insert it into the new one? ( I've thought about smashing it apart, but
that's the last...

Al Kondo
I have been dealing with an overheating problem on my 1.6 Liter 1996

Brake Master Cylinder Flush by
Marcy
Hi Gang,
I could use a little advise. I have a 1999 Toyota Prerunner and I have
had all the little service issues, including oil and filter changes,
done at the dealer where I bought it. I have always had great
experiences with them and the service department.
I just had my routine oilchange...

LaCrosse vs LaSabre by
HLS
Presently have a 98 LaSabre which has been an excellent car. However, it is
known that some models of the 3800 V6 engine
have had severe problems when the plastic manfolds decompose or begin to
leak coolant into the crankcase.
Buick seems to shuffle its feet, look at the sky, and claim 'the dog...

Retorquing by
Rojo2G
My repair book doesn't mention retorquing the head and or the manifold after
replacment. What is the proper amount of time/miles to wait? I am also going to
set the valves, so that is a good time for me to retorque. The valve cover is
covered in tubes and hoses otherwise.
Thank you Rojo

Exhaust leak -- how to check by
[email protected]
Ok, I posted before looking for help on what I thought was a vibrating
exhaust system component or heat shield. Further inspection while
idling revealed the high pitch tone that I hear at various speeds to be
present, just at a lower volume.
After crawling around trying to figure out the precise...

Difference between Deville 1987-89 for service info? by
JH333
I just bought a 1988 Cadillac Deville and wanted to buy the factory
service manual from Helm, Inc. Helm no longer keeps in stock the manual
for 1988 Deville/Fleetwood (only by special order) but they have the
manuals for 1987 and 1989 in stock at a substantially lower price.
Would either the 1987...

Suzuki Sidekick heating/cooling problem by
Danny Madden
I have a 1993 Suzuki Sidekick. It is now winter with cold temperatures (not
real cold...down to -10 degree celcius) and now the vehicle will not heat up
enough to be comfortable in the cab. I replaced the thermostat with a new
'winter rated' thermostat (180-192 degree) but the air from the heater...

Bought a TH-350 rear seal - what's the sleeve that came in the package? by
Miki
Hey guys, today I bought a new rear seal for my TH-350 transmission.
It is a Timken p/n 5200. The package contained the usual seal, but
also had a metallic sleeve inside made by Clevite. It is silver in
color on the outside and copper in color on the inside. The inside
also has a spiral pattern...

96 Aerostar Turn Signal Switch by
MOJO
I just wanted to contribute a little tidbit and maybe someone could
benefit from it. My 96 Aerostar has about 120K miles on it. I had a 91
before it. I loved them for some reason and they never caused me any
problems. The 91 did have some of the notorious rust at that seam on
top of the rear...
