SC-2 Door Panels by
[email protected]
Does anyone know how to remove the door panels off an SC-2.......I
removed all the screws/handles and plug things, but it looks like its
still holding on just by the lever that opens the door.....does that
lever come off? I removed the screw, but that didnt seem to do
anything??

2004 V6 Vue Transaxle by
Joe
I went to check the fluid level according to manual instructions. Oops! No
dipstick...the tranny is sealed! I actually went to the dealer to find it.
They couldn't believe the manual was wrong. This, along with the incorrect
location of the cabin air filter (not behind glove box).

manual 5 transmission shift binding by
Rob Deen
My '99 SL2 has developed some shift binding in
the lower gears. Would stretched cables cause
this? The bushings look OK at the shift tower
or could it be the shift tower worn out?
I need to know how to diagnose the cause before
blindly replacing parts.
thx to all respective replys... Rob

Gary Compton
Question for Larry (Bl@h Blah) or anyone whos knows the answer: As you
advised, I bought a TAAT factory manual and am all set to reinstall the
valvebody, but I have a question not explained by the manual -- about
installing the "Manual Valve".
The manual says to "Lower the valvebody and insert...

Wheel Alignment explanation by
New & Improved - N/F John
I had a 4 wheel alignment on my L200 but I don't really understand the
results.
Please consider the front left tire. The printout had three columns
labelled: Actual, Before and Specified Range (SR). The rows were labelled
Camber, Caster and Toe. Only the Caster was above the SR on both the...

BG vs Techron by
marx404
We have a dirty little '03 SL1. ONe mechanic says use BG fuel injection
cleaner ($30. a can at Saturn), another says use Chevron Techron (Auto Parts
Store $3.00). The second one says that Techron is better and cheaper (I
agree cheaper).
Which is better or are they the same? From my experience, BG...

VUE '04 SERVICE MANUAL - WHERE TO FIND ONE? by
paul
Just became the proud owner of a 2004 VUE, with the 2.2 4cyl. It is
the 4th Saturn that I have owned.
Really like the vehicle so far.
Is there a Haynes or Chilton's service manual for VUE's? If not, what
is a good source for an experienced/advanced do-it-yourself-er? What
is the cost?
Thx for...

Governor by
[email protected]
I have a 93 SC2. The car has 100k on it and now it acts like there is
a governor on it. It will not go over 3k rpm. I pulled the exhaust
thinking it might have been the cat convertor but that was not it and
I am stumped. I was just wondering if anyone else had this problem?

1997 Saturn burning oil by
chelsi
I have a 1997 Saturn SL2 that I bought new. It now has close to 78K miles
on it. It has started burning oil. There are no leaks. I took it in to
the dealership for an oil change and told them about the problem. They
told me it was likely to be the rings or valve pipes and that they will
have...

Vue 2004: heated mirrors? by
Andrew Webber
I'm thinking of buying a 2004 Vue (probably V6 with AWD, it gets cold
and snows in Ottawa ;). My current vehicle is a 1991 Explorer
purchased new in 1990.
My Explorer has nothing power at all, except I added a remote starter
about two years ago. I don't much care if I have power mirrors or
not,...
