DRL module by
Pete Breemhaar
This may apply only to Canadian Miata owners...
I had commented in an earlier discussion on the merits of DRLs, that the
left DRL on my 94 would intermittently go out, even though the bulb would
flash with the left turn signal.
I finally got around to pulling out the DRL module(a light-green...

I rarely buy cars by
Rivergoat
I have a 1990 Honda that for the past year has started giving me all
kinds of mechancial issues. From the small, like a dead power antenna,
to a master cylinder, a $300 cooling fan, dead A/C, ABS pressurization
problems, and now possibly timing belt tensioner issues. I bought this
new, which is why...

Wiper fluid ... it burns it burns!! by
Caden
Is it my imagination or is there a trend in cars trying to spit
on one another?
Actually, I know there are clear cases of "intentional incorrect
windshield wiper use." I'm just curious if I'm alone in the
observation.

Engine swap by
K-tron
Hey all, just got to thinking 'bout puting some decent power in a
Miata. Like a 7+ litre, oops sorry 427 cid side oiler, in the little
beastie, but I need to know the rough dimensions of the engine bay
(mainly the depth from hood-line down to the bottom of the control
arms) and the width of the...

Are glass rear windows standard? by
Rivergoat
Starting to think if I can afford to sell my aging Honda, I want to
look seriously at a Miata. Was wondering if the recent NB models have
glass rear windows, or is that strictly aftermarket?
Also, what tips for soft top preservation (other than a car cover,
which I would consider). I don't have...

Rear end noise on 1991 Miata. Differential? by
Mike Flanagan
Hey folks-
My 91 Miata (155K) is making an awful racket, seemingly from the left
rear axle. When I accelerate, it doesn't really seem too bad, but
when I let off the gas and coast, the noise comes, a "Clunk Clunk
Clunk" type. To make matters worse, it seems to diminish
substantially when I step...

Big Miata Problem- Update by
Clark Smith
Last I wrote my 2000 Miata was broken down (stopped running and would not
start) and towed to a dealer in Shreveport, LA. After changing out the fuel
pump relay and computer to no avail, they diagnosed the problem as damage to
the fusebox and wiring somehow caused by the after market alarm. They...

Iolastorm
I have been trying to find a detailed list of everything that is serviced
during a 100,000 mile check-up for a 1992 Mazda Miata to no avail.
Does anyone have any information that may be helpful?
Thank You.

Where's the best place to find a NEW TOP ?? by
Chief_Wiggum
Any reccomendations on where to get a new top and window for a 95 Miata?
Also, what's needed to put in a glass window ? I'm thinking as long as
the top's getting replaced it may be nice to put in glass . (unless it's too
cost prohibitive).
Thanxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Engine Swap, Thanks by
K-tron
Thanks for the replies folks, after doing some measurements (again) on
the Miata engine bay I find that it is too low from the hoodline to
the botttom of the control arms. 28 inches ain't enough unless I go to
a remote sump and inject the monster. Which is somewhat more involved
than I want to get....

How many have a trailer? by
[email protected]
I own a 2000 Mazda Protege ES..... not a Miata.
Keep thinking abt a Miata tho
But one things Im trying to figure out is how I would haul "stuff"
with a Miata as my only car.
Even with my Protege its damn near useless for hauling anything more
than a sack of groceries. Example I bought some of...

Size of lock nut of front hub? Where to get it? by
Tingfang Ji
I broke a lug on the front wheel when I tried to loosen the lug nut.
To replace the lug/hub, I started disassemble the front hub. Now I am
stuck by the lock nut of the front hub. I tried the largest socket
(27mm) and it still won't fit.
What's the size of the lock nut?
Where to get a new lock...

Does anyone have aftermarket air conditioning... by
MoreOfTheBugs
....on their Miata?
I have a red `94, 110K, runs great, absolutely love it. But I'm tired
of sweating during the commute.
Has anyone resorted to aftermarket a/c and, if so, what were the
results?
Or does anyone in SoCal wanna trade their similar, a/c-equipped Miata
for mine, plus some cash?...

M1 fog/driving lights by
Pete Breemhaar
I have seen many references to fog/driving lights on he M1, and the
associated dash mounted switch.
I take it this was a dealer installed accessory...
can anyone point me to an on-line photo showing the front of a Miata
equipped with these lights ?
I realize there are many possibilities with...
