Honda Odyssey cruise control by Dick[_5_]
2000 Odyssey, 61,000m. Cruise control started "dropping out" occasionally at first, now regularly. Dealer mechanic is about to replace brake switch because "it is noisy" and the under-hood actuator. Looking carefully at wiring diagram page 4-34 in shop manual it doesn't appear that there is any...

New keys & locks for 97 Honda Accord = new immobiliser? by Al Reynolds
Hi, I have a 97 Honda Accord Aerodeck (Wagon) and one of the keys was in my bag which was stolen. Unfortunately my address was on my driving licence which was also in the bag, and it's also possible that the person who stole the bag knows me and knows which is my car. As such I probably need...

Quiet turn signals by Bob Daun
The turn signals on my 2006 Accord V-6 seem to be extremely quiet. Consequently, I often find myself driving with a turn signal blinking (when I didn't make a sharp enought turn for it to automatically turn off). This is especially common in daylight as the arrow is not that bright although if...

Proper towing by K_J
I was always told that cars should be towed with their unpowered wheels on the ground. Yet, I often see some motor homes towing a passenger car with all 4 wheels on the ground. How does this work? Is my knowledge too dated? How do you tow 4WD car? Thanks, Karl

Dome/trunk lights not working by NB
The dome light in my 97 Accord doesn't work anymore, and neither does the trunk light. How easy would it be to fix that myself? Also, the windshield wipers don't work on low speed, but they do work on high speed.

Stinky Del Sol by [email protected]
My '93 Del Sol emitted a sulfurish smell for about a week... I've noticed that it also stinks when I go uphill in the past. The smell is now disappearing but yesterday when I started my car in the morning, it turned on and shut off. The same thing happened later in the late afternoon. I had to gas...

Major slippage on 2003 Accord by Jason Bourgeois
I have a 2003 Honda Accord LX 6-cyl., with 80k miles, and today it suddenly began to show major slippage. It felt the car shifted into neutral, and revved without moving the car forward. Then suddenly it would lurch into gear. A couple of times, I couldn't get the car to move after stopping,...

How to reset ECU? by [email protected]
How about disconnecting the battery for a minute. By 1999 you should be able to do with the Radio fuse for a minute. I don't know about UK, but in US by 1996 all are OBD-II. Check your engine hood decal. On Sep 22, 10:15*am, "Peter Hucker" > wrote: > I wish to clear the ECU error...

Now that was an experience. I re-used the old springs and top caps. I had to fabricate my own spring compressor, as I couldn't find anything on the market for those skinny Honda springs. I did have a bit of help from a supplier of ours that does laser cutting. They cut the top plate from my CAD...
