Michael Frohlich
My 2000 Miata is starting to overheat @ 85,000 miles. Is it a week fan motor
or just needs a good cooling system flush?

Rear Brakes Rubbing by
Christopher Muto[_1_]
I have a '95 that has what I now consider to be a chronic problem with the
left rear brake rubbing.
When I first got the car I had the rear brakes lubed and reassembled but the
rubbing came back after a couple of months.
I was then sold a set of rear calipers as it was believed that the calipers...

1987 626 rear wheel bearings by
MARCUS CHACONA
Rear bearings are one of the very few weak points for this car. Can anybody
recommend the best replacement brand and where they can be found. I have had
my 626 since new. Just under 100k mi but it has been eating up it's rear
bearings.

Do I have to Fix the bent wheel? by
Jungwoo Ha
Hi,
One of my wheel is bent and unavailable to balance.
I can feel the "65 shimmy" but the shimmy is not that big.
Top up -> more shimmy
Top down -> less shimmy
In this case do I have to replace the wheel right away?
Somebody says that the suspension may get screwed if I don't fix it.
Thanks,

Oil drain valve by
Clark Friedrichs
Folks,
I went to the Fumoto web site and believe I picked out the correct valve
for my '03 Miata.
I think there are pictures/graphics showing the products, but I can't see
them do to the fact that I'm blind. I was wondering if one of you could
verify my selection?

96 Miata - replacing timing belt by
Brian[_1_]
Is a 1996 Mazda Miata one of those zero clearance cars where if the timing
belt breaks it will do damage to the rods / pistons? Is anyone aware of
that? I was told by a friend that certain cars (and he called them zero
clearance) will do damage to the rods / cylinders if you don't change...

WARNING, ON TOPIC POST! by
XS11E[_1_]
I overfilled my 1.6, the oil level was down to the add mark and without
thinking I dumped in a quart. Checking it cold shows I should have
added only about 1/2 quart.
Is this going to hurt anything? I wouldn't worry about it in most cars
but the sump is fairly small.....
I've driven it a...

woofer by
Art McGinn
It's starting to sound like I've got a woofer problem in the sound system
of my '91. I peeled back the headrest on the driver's side to expose the two
small speakers there, both identical in size. Are these woofers or tweeters
or both? If tweeters, are the woofers in the door panels? Any...

Suspension question by
Mark[_4_]
I've got a completely stock '97 Miata (except for having upgraded the
14" steel wheels to lighter 15" Kosei wheels) that I'm thinking of
making a little more fun.
I'm pretty much just a daily driver, stuck with driving in city
traffic. I occasionally get a chance to escape to some hilly...

I have a '90 Miata with a 1.6, I have only had it for about a
month, I have started driving it on a regular basis to work and noticed
a shimmy feeling in the car, I took it and had the wheels balanced and
rotated over the weekend, but as I was coming in to work today, I

Loose front rotor by
Mark[_4_]
I've been hearing some occasional noise from the front right and this
weekend took some time to figure out what it is. After taking off the
front right tire, at first I noticed that the 4 wheel posts were loose
relative to the rotor, but after trying to move the rotor, the rotor
itself wiggles...

Need help with 1990 4-sale by
Sean[_2_]
Hi everyone -- I'm a newbie here; never owned a Miata before.
Lately I've gotten interested in buying a 2-seat roadster
and I found a 1990 for sale in (what looks like) good shape.
The seller (a car salesman himself) wants $7500 Canadian obo
+ $1500 for an accessory hard top.
I took it for a test...
