Would it save my BMW to lower the radiator pressure cap from 30psi to 15psi by
Brent[_8_]
From reading what goes wrong with BMWs, one scary well known flaw is the

something more akin to what the US...

Aftermarket car seat warmers by
Ivan Vegvary[_2_]
There are numerous DIY car seat warmers on the market. Has anybody got a
recommendation on a brand that you have found satisfactory?
(Looking for the type that you install under the finished upholstery, like
an original factory installation)
Thanks,

honda hoses replacement by
lora
Hello,
I went in for a oil change to the Honda dealer for my 2001 Accord LX.
The service guy said that the hoses were getting soft and recommended
to get all 9 of them replaced along with the thermostat. He quoted
about $620 for this job. It seems rather high.
Is this a typical job for cars that...

12SI alternator troublshooting: DOH: the ignominious denoument by
Ed Treijs[_2_]
I had already reassembled the 12SI when most of the discussion here
took place. Saturday morning I decided to reinstall it into the car.
First, I checked and the tan/brown wire had zippo voltage on it with
the key off. Then I installed the alternator and the same problem:
increased current draw...

1980 Civic Burns Oil After Adding by
Chris F.
This project seemed to be nearly wrapped up, with little more than a paint
job remaining to be done. But as I mentioned in a previous post regarding
the carburetor, the engine had stopped running and would only flood when I
tried to start it. I have since taken the carb all apart and thoroughly...

Auto Transmission noice in 96 Chevy full size 4x4 by
stryped[_3_]
My 96 chevy truck with automatic and 350,000 miles started making a
"wining" noise the other day. It makes this noise whether it is in
neutral or in gear and changes with reving the engine. (The pitch I
guess changes when reving the engine). It is less noticeable going
down the highway more...

New Battery and Tire Recommendations by
Steve L[_1_]
I have a 2005 GMC Envoy with 55K miles. It is a 2nd vehicle and doesn't see
a lot of miles lately. I think this hasn't helped the battery too much, as
it has been so cold here in New England. I've had to jump it twice lately.
So anyway, time for a new battery I think. I can have an Interstate...
