D16 << Cylinder head STUCK to block by
Crystal
I removed all head studs, belts and even removed the cam and the head
still won't come off. I even went as far as beating it with a plastic
mallet - doesn't move a hair. Removed still the entire intake manifold
with no progress. Sprayed the hell out of the seam with PB blaster. Not
breaking free....

Car: 95 Civic LX
Problem: Engine cranks, but will not start
What has been done so far:
1) Replaced spark plugs - and tested that there are sparks while

93 Honda Accord with problems by
Imagnat
I have a '93 Accord 10th Anniversary Ed. Automatic. I've owed the car
for about 6 months and I have a couple of different problems that I
hope someone can help with.
1) The engine has a rough idle when warm (500-750 rpms). When I shift
out of gear and into Neutral or Park it smooths out quite a...

94 Civic 80amp fuse issue by
[email protected]
I go to get into the car, and my belt started to whine - but this was
usual, I just haven't had a chance to adjust the belt tension since
initially putting a new belt on.
I drove less than 20 feet, and the car jolted to a stall. I say
"alright, perhaps I just killed it, no problem" and tried to...

****98 Accord V6 Pinging Problem by
FunkyKev
Pinging on very moderate acceleration on level road. Cleaned plenum.
Cleaned EGR port. Replaced EGR valve. Ran like butter for about 6
weeks and pinging gradually returned. Repeat procedure. Same exact
set of results 2 times now. Only...he--hem..."high-test" will stop the
pinging. Thoughts?

Honda Civic Timing Belt by
Kylie
Hi everyone,
My Honda Civic 1984 (Auto) timing belt is just broken.
Mechanic said that it can replace it with for about $280.0, but he said
there is a chance that the valves and pistons are damaged as well as a
result and repairing those could cost up to $1600.
If valves and pistons are damaged, I...

kendall motor oil any good by
ap
Hello,
I used to go to the Honda dealer to have the oil changes,
but now have considered ogoing to this Goodyear wood & fullterton
place in Georgia that is AAA rated.
These guys use Kendall motor oil. I believe the dealer
uses a different brand, pennzoil (spelling?).
Are these comparable?

Should I used drilled/slotted rotors on a 1990 Civic Standard? by
PB Schechter
I have a 1990 Civic Standard (hatchback) with aobut 150K miles, and am about
ready for my 3rd set of rotors. (The problem is warpage.) Should I consider
drilled/slotted rotors, rather than another set of OEM rotors? If so, does
anyone have brands or vendors (eBay?) to recommend?
Thanks in...

stuck distributor rotor by
[email protected]
Hi all,
OK. After spending a couple hours and over a hundred bucks doing yearly
maintenance, I can't get the little rotor off. It's held on by one
philips screw and I'm afraid I'm stripping the thing by trying to get
it off. The edge of the rotor is good and straight, but a little
frayed. I WANT...

'88 Legend Coupe lower ball joint removal by
Ryan Biggs
Hello all,
I've had my '88 2dr 5spd for 7 years now and have done almost all my
own work on it. I don't have much experience with suspension work,
however, and now it's time to dive in. I need to replace the front
axles, and I figure I might do the shocks since I'm in there already.
(They don't...

1998 V6 Accord EGR Flow Insufficient P0401 by
John Edwards
Hi,
I have a 1998 Accord V6, and have recently got the "Check Engine

that it is P0401 - EGR Flow Insufficient". From a little research on
google, found that this might be a known Honda Issue (TSB-99-085) and
Honda has a recall...
