93 civic temp gauge is rising - please help by
[email protected]
I have been having a problem with my Honda Civic DX for the past few
months, since the spring weather got warm. My usual commute was about
40 miles highway (65 to 70 mph), then about 5 miles of stop-and-go
traffic in town. Once I got into town, and sat at a stop light, my
temp gauge will start to...

Is it safe to tow a trailer with an Accord? by
DP[_1_]
I am moving across the country and I just purchased a 4dr V6 Accord. I
researched the costs of renting a Uhaul truck and towing my accord.
Wow, $3000 moving out and then back in 6 months (not including fuel).
Uhaul told me I can tow a 5' x 8' trailer with my 4 dr accord. The
trailer weighs 800 lbs...

2001 Civic EX A/C problem by
Andy Fekete
I have a 2001 Civic EX automatic with 85K miles on it. I've noticed that
while driving at 70 - 75 mph my A/C quits blowing cold after about 15
minutes of driving. Normally it's ice cold, but then it's as if I turned off
the A/C and the fans just blowing. If I turn off the A/C, wait a few...

Hi All,
I have a Honda Accord EXR 94. Recently I found a very strong gas smell
in my garage in the morning if I topped up the gas last night. I also
can found a palm-side gas leak on the ground.
The smell was disappeared with the gas level went down.
What is wrong in my car?
Thanks,

98' Accord, Rear camber not adjustable? The followup. by
Al[_1_]
A couple of weeks ago I posted a question about adding adjustable rear
control arms to fix a camber problem.
I've since been to my Honda dealer, who's service department did an
alignment, and "fixed" the camber problem. He adjusted the rear toe, which
he said brought the camber back a bit,...

rust colored dust front rims by
[email protected]
I have a 93 Honda Accord. I've had the brakes and pads replaced at 50K
I am at 90 K and Honda says I'm down 50% back 40% front. Losing a bit
of brake fluid only when cold weather hits (?)
What concerns me is the rust colored dust accumulating on my front
wheel rims. Nothing happening with the...

1st Gen (1988) Legend radius arm & bushings by
Ryan Biggs
Hello all,
I'm replacing the radius rod bushings (among other things) on my 1988
Legend 5spd coupe. I've noticed the rods both have a slight bend in
them, symmetric on both sides of the car. Is this normal, or should
they be replaced?
Also, the new bushings I got from the dealer are fairly...

Inbd Wear on One Tire by

Any sage advice on whether to replace the other tires or how
to rotate them at this point?
Background:
1991 Civic, 179k miles. One of my (then) front tires
displayed inboard wear about 7500 miles ago. Back then I
rotated it to the rear, did some suspension work, and think
I found the main...

Error Code 54 -- '96 Civic by
Ducksoup
Hi All,
My Civic's check engine light came on yesterday. I extracted the MIL-blink
code, 5 longs 4 shorts. But I'm having problem deciphering the meaning. Is
this plain 54, which reportedly is the "CKF Sensor (Crankshaft Speed
Fluctuation) defective circuit or unplugged / defective sensor" or...

Restoring stock seat upholstery by
Steve Pankow
I have a '91 CRX HF and I'm beginning to get some small tears along the
outside of the driver's side bolsters. Is getting the seat restored to
"original" condition even worth it, or should it just be redone with
more modern fabrics in the same color scheme? Or do I totally cheap out
and get a...

Anybody have picture of where this control unit is located on each vehicle?
Also, anybody happen to know if it is the same part for both vehicles?

96 Accord water pump by

I've treated my 1996 Accord LX 4-cyl well. It's a great car, never
complains, and is always ready to go. It's had all the scheduled
services (or so I thought), plus a new oil pan after a quick change
place overtightened the drain plug. It's low mileage - it only has
104,000 miles - but over the...
