Astra is priced right now by
marx404
When GM imported the Opel Astra form it's special Saturn assembly line in
Antwerp, Belgium, the price was just stupid. Even Bob (the putz) Lutz
admitted so. With GM and everyone else in the automotive industry cutting
prices, the Astra which debuted at a starting price of $18,000. can now be...

Does anybody know of a website that is for getting genuine GM parts at
wholesale discount or better prices?
Can you post or email to me with the URL link? One on the west coast would

97 SL Oil Pump Light by
John Doe[_5_]
Group,
I have a 97 SL, 215K miles. Now that it is cold, the oil pump light takes a
long time to go out. I can tell a difference in the valve tapping sounds
when the light goes out. At idle, it flickers on. I have been using 10W-30
over the summer months. Any ideas?

Saturn SL2 warning Lights for temp and fluids by
Bill[_28_]
I have seen the warning lights on my 98 SL2 blink on and off a few times
while driving and then go off. The temp is fine and the fluid levels are
normal? Does anyone know what would cause this? I have 190000 miles on the
car.

2001 SL2 - low temp indicated and very little heat by
Jeff Bowyer
I just got back from a vacation and my trusty 2001 SL2 has a new heating
problem. After starting it up and letting it idle maybe 5 minutes the temp
guage registers only a bit above "cold" . . . the first mark on the guage.
Usually it would be almost to the "normal" heat level . . . almost to...

1996 SL2 front wheel squeak by
Doug Miller[_1_]
1996 SL2 with traction control and ABS has recently developed an obnoxious
squeak, apparently from the RF wheel. The squeak begins at about 10 mph, and
changes in frequency in accordance with vehicle speed. Ordinarily, I'd be
thinking brakes, except that applying the brakes makes no difference...

2002 SL very hard shifting 2/3 gears? by
Leythos[_2_]
Was looking at a used Saturn 2002 with 140K on it for one of my kids and
the thing really slammed into 3rd gear (automatic transmission) and less
hard into 2nd....
Driving was smooth when not shifting, no slipping could be detected
while accelerating....
Any ideas?

Hello all.. I have a '03 Saturn ION that has about 50,000 miles on

2005 Vue Daytime running lamps blink off by
Shawn
Had the resister replaced twice. Seems when it's damp outside, the running
lamps won't come on. The light flickers in the dash and then goes out. Any
idea's. Saturn replaced the resister about a month ago for the second time,
but it happened again the next day.

My '98 Saturn sometimes won't shift out of park. The shift lever will
not move even with the button pushed. Eventually it will suddenly move
easily. What could be the issue?

Radio noise '01 LW300 by

For over a year now, I have had intermittent static, weak signal and
generally poor radio reception on our 2001 LW300. I had hit a low branch
with the antenna a while back and the radio seemed to get worse at that
point. Turned out to be a 5 minute job to fix. Had tried replacing the
antenna with a...

Took it back in and they charged me $49.95 for a "brake inspection" and
found nothing wrong.
Two weeks later, noise MUCH worse so I...
