Neon Immobilisers & Keyfob by Arturo Ui
I'm considering buying a 2003 Neon here in the UK - I understand that there have been problems with immobilisers, spares for which aren't now made. Are the later cars (Series 2) affected by this problem? Are they affected by any other problems? Many thanks Artie

Hi. My wife's 1999 caravan (120K miles, 3.3L, Automatic) started leaking coolant from inside transmission bellhousing. I checked both heads and didn't see any leaks. I pressure tested it, and the coolant came streaming out of the inspection cover...it drips pretty severe even without pressure...

What would be the cause of this engine spitting oil into the aircleaner? Other than that, everything runs fine.

99 T&C Door look problem by nobody
So, the way the door cyclinders are supposed to work, if you turn the key to unlock and hold for one second it will unlock all the doors. That works great on the passenger side door of my van. On the driver side, however, it doesn't. Instead, it will unlock all the doors for as long as you hold...

2001 2.7 Intrepid...a deal? by DeserTBoB
I've noted the Chrysler/Daimler/Toyota/VW oil sludging imbroglio since it started showing up in the press, and have noted that it further depressed prices on 2.7-equipped LH cars to the point to where many seem like pretty good deals for someone with some mechanical smarts. Case in point: An...

Ford takes a dive, DC will be #2 soon by DeserTBoB
Ford announced today that they are offering early retirement buyouts for over 75,000 employees today, showing that, rather than try to compete, they're going to basically fold their tent. Billy Boy Ford, like any good rat, sensed a sinking ship and bailed out. Looks like DaimlerChrysler will soon...
