Honda Fit. Too expensive? by
pars
I was over at one of the Honda dealership in Toronto and was seriously
contenplating getting the 07 Fit. I figured that I could trade-in my
old 98 Hatch and drop an additional $16,000 and if I'm lucky, land
myself a Manual LX. The Dealer had a Black Sport that hadn't moved in
about a month and had...

A few questions for the experts by
Dee
I have a very reliable '94 Accord sedan with 155,000 miles on it that I love
a lot. However, last week we rented a brand new Toyota Sienna for a road
trip and I thought I was going to cry having to turn in the keys. :-)
The Accord is 'the good car' in our family (the other two are dogs),...

on my Honda Accord '94.
|Sometimes|, when I try to run the ignition
it cranks, seems to start for half a second (speedometer shows
something)
and then nothing (dies). Also all indicators seems to go off after
that.

[email protected]
Will the engine crank if I had a bad solder joint in a main relay, or
will there be no cranking..
Why I am asking is the other day the car had been sitting outside for
about 5 days without use and it was very hot and humid and I tried to
start the car and it would crank, but start.
So I left the...

96 Accord water pump by
[email protected]
I've treated my 1996 Accord LX 4-cyl well. It's a great car, never
complains, and is always ready to go. It's had all the scheduled
services (or so I thought), plus a new oil pan after a quick change
place overtightened the drain plug. It's low mileage - it only has
104,000 miles - but over the...

Do I have to change transmission oil at 48000Km? by
Nemo
Hello Guys,
I got a 2001 Civic, I normally get it to the dealer to change the oil and
filter. They insists that the transmission oil has to be changed at 48000Km.
It is an automatic transmission. Does this make sense. It does not say so in
the car manual. Any advice is appreciated.

Replacing Fuel Filter, 1998 Honda Civic EX by
johnin[_9_]
Some have said that a fuel filter on a Honda lasts for the life of the
car.
However, I have about 168,000 miles on my '98 Civic. I have detected that
my fuel efficiency is starting to lower a bit.
Is this due to a dirty fuel filter or just the age of the car?
first off Honda fuel filters dont...

2001 Accord - please help diagnose drivetrain problem by
George Earl
2001 Accord LX-V6, automatic, 90k miles, all services faithfully
maintained at the dealer, including recent 90k service.
I'm getting a whup-whup-whup sound from the left front (I think) that
increases and decreases in frequency with road speed. It is most
pronounced between 35 - 40 mph but is also...

Looking at a couple of Accords. One for my daughter and maybe one for

several cars in the past.
Daughter first.
She's found a 1998 Accord V6 coupe with around 110,000 miles. Seems to
have been maintained OK (oil, scheduled...

99 Civic Seats by
glenf
I want to buy a 'less than ten year old' Civic Coupe. I drove a 99 EX today
that had two big knobs on the driver's seat for adjustment. I later drove
an older (I think a 97) that did not have these knobs and appeared to have a
shorter seating area seat. What year did the "two knob" seat start...

2000 CRV stalls when not warmed up by
Akili
Hi,
I have a 2000 Honda CRV with 76,374 miles on it. Recently the car
started stalling within the first few minutes of driving whenever
stopping at a stop light or stop sign. We started taking the extra
5-10 minutest to let the car warm up before driving it and that seemed
to help, but what does...

Hi, I have a 2001 Honda Accord, and it has been having a problem where
the engine shuts off while I am driving. When it is idling and the
problem occurs, it will shut off entirely so that I have to put it in
Park and then restart it. If I am driving more than 10 mph it will shut

cabling? by

Hi,
Does Honda only use one set of cabling in a certain type of car, and then
the difference in trim levels is only a matter of leaving out / installing
certain components?
If they use different cabling for different trim levels then installing for
instance auto cruise would be impossible later...

Check engine light by
[email protected]
Hi All,
How do I turn off the check engine light? The car won't pass inspection
with it on. I tried disconnecting the battery but nothing happened. I
found some check engine code readers/erasers on EBay here
http://stores.ebay.com/OneSmartMove
Has anyone tried similar one?
Thanks,

Were the '96 - '99 Civics the best of the line? by
KWW[_1_]
My daughter just totaled our '97 Odyssey and, since this fall all 3 kids
will be in college, I am pondering replacing it with a smaller vehicle.
Thing is, we had a '96 Civic (eldest son totaled years ago) and it seemed to
be the best car we've ever had. It handled and drive very well, smoothly,...
