Barry

snowy, slippery winter. I was all over the road.
All weather tires work great around here the first few years; utill
the new-tire "edge" is worn off. I...

91 Ford Explorer Transmission Problem by
Michael Hill
Hi all,
My '91 Ford Explorer is having some transmission problems.
I noticed over the past couple months that when I shift from 'park' to
'O' that it took the transmission a second or two to engage instead on
engaging instantly.
Then the other day I was driving and while pulling out into the...

8valve engine by
Glafcos C
Hi there.
I want to ask you guys since you are experts if its worth the money
to buy a new car with a 1.6lt 8-valve engine.
My friends are telling me that 16-valve engines are much better in
performance than 8-valve. I believe that, but are 8-valve engines that
bad?
Are they considered old...

Question regarding AC by
Billy Kilmer
Hello,
When your car is turned off, and your ac is set to receive air from
outside versus recirc, does that outside vent stay open? I want to
exhaust heat from the interior of the car and am wondering if that
would provide replacement air.

To Change or Not by
ka9szx
I own a Mercury Sable that has 148,000 miles on it. I am contemplating
changing the transmission fluid, filter and gasket as part of regular
maintenance.
I have been advised "not" to change the fluid on this car.
The reason is that either new fluid does not have particulates that...

reliability.
