ANGER! Saturn Vue Back Latch Repair by
[email protected]
I can't seem to find any repair manual for the Saturn VUE Body. My
back latch stopped working and I can't open my back hatch. I believe I
could fix it myself if I had some guidance on how to open it. Any
Suggestions?
I am VERY frustrated with the Saturn VUE. We loved it when we first
bought...

When I break now my car feels like the front end is going over a washboard
dirt road. The harder I break the more the feeling is pronounced. it tends
to feel like its shaking rapidly back and forth quickly between the two
front wheels, though I have no idea what causes this. Before this got...

Replacing drivers mirror glass by
Jocko
During a cold snap 2 winters ago my drivers side outside mirror glass
cracked down the middle. It has since fractured in a few more places so
I've bought a new glass for it. However, my Haynes guide does not say how
to replace the glass.
Has anyone had any experience with this? Any hints...

Spare Tire - $238 by
Nobody
My 2000 SL1 spare shredded somehow; I guess due to the Florida heat.
I called Saturn and was told it was $238 just for the tire itself.
Are there any other sources for this tire besides cruising junkyards?

Greetings Car Masters!
I have a Saturn SL2 96 160k and I can not drive the car in reverse.
- I start the car
- Put in the reverse gear
- Press the gas.
- The car does not move. It feels like something is stuck somewhere
that hinders the car from moving. The engine is engaged, works hard
and tries...

No Name
Here's the story...
I have a '06 Vue (4cyl, 5spd) I bought in 11/05. I do a lot of driving and
my wife talked me into an extended warranty for it (6yr/64K). I'm just
approaching 36K now.
The problem is that the dealer I bought the car and the extended warranty

purchasing a used '97 Saturn SC2 by
[email protected]
hi all,
I am looking to buy a '97 SC2 coupe mainly for city transportation
plus any weekend trips under 300-400 miles. The car has 155k miles on
it and is in reasonably good (exterior) condition. I test drove the
car and found that it handled ok. Sharp turns handled especially well.
Can anyone...

Saturn Astra Debuts This Week in Chicago by
[email protected]
I suppose this is old news to most here, but the arrival of the Astra
may mean the first new car for me in 11 years.

Hopefully, it will be as good as the European models. I understand the
first to arrive will not be made in the US...

damage from too much oil? by
marx404
Arg, I'm not sure about some mechanics. Gotta hold some ppl's hands no
matter what, I'm afraid.
Had my oil changed 3 days ago, I supply my own and filter. Gave the dummy in
the shop a 5qt. Mobil1 bottle and a K&N gold filter. Got the car back,
expecting 1 qt left in the bottle. SC2 holds 4qts,...

Replacing Rear Heated O2 Sensor by
HyperCube33 \(Life2Death\)[_18_]
I did more research and found that I replaced the wrong sensor (someone told
me the code meant the front one, doh!) so I had the rear heated o2 sensor
ordered and will pick it up today. I've read that its a pain to get off, but
that's fine. I'm not exactly sure where it is since I haven't been...

Help! by
HyperCube33 \(Life2Death\)[_21_]
I'm going to undertake the first major car maintenance I've ever done:
Replace the front wheel bearing. I'm going to take the hub into Saturn
(right?) and have them press a new bearing in for me.
I would appreciate a list of tools I'd need to rent, or buy, or find before
I get started, so I can...

2007 Saturn Vue vs 2008 Vue by
[email protected]
I'm thinking about purchasing a VUE. After doing a little research, I
find that Saturn is coming out with a whole new Vue for 2008. I've
seen the pictures of it, and don't really care for the "euro" look and
from what I've read, they will no longer use plastic panels. However
is there any...

Timing Chain ('99 SL 102 K mi) by
Steve[_6_]
Hi, all!
It seems to me that I used to see recommendations to change the timing chain at about 100,000 miles, whether it
seems to need it or not, as there is no way to tell if it is about to fail. But recently the consensus seems to be that
timing chains should last the life of the engine if...
