2005 Saturn Vue by Jacques
I'm thiking about buying a midsize SUV to pull my boat (2700 lb with trailer). I see a lot of Jeep Libertys, Ford Escapes, etc., with a trailer hitch but never Saturn Vues. Anybody with experience using a Vue with a hitch pulling around 3000 lb? Thanks. jrf

Defensive Driving by Dean S. Lautermilch
I was almost clipped by this person who was trying to catch up with another speeding car.I've learned to watch what is coming behind me when one speeding car passes. Often, it is a race of some kind. I just got my 2000 SL1 professionally detailed including under the hood. The engine looks showroom...

Stupid Americans! -- Stupid... Stupid... STUPID!!! ______ by Z28_Sedan
You don't have to be religious or stupid to support Bush. I'm an agnostic with atheist leanings and I have a Ph.D. in Chemical Physics, but I vote Republican because I like lower taxes, I want privatized (if only partially) social security, and I don't want socialized healthcare. There are a lot...

missing my Saturn by Justin
My previous car was a '98 SL1 4 door, 5 speed, gold. Now I drive a '99 Chevy Venture minivan. I should have bought a Saturn SL1 or SL2 wagon. Japanese cars like the Civic or Corolla might have better fit/finish but are a lot more boring than the Saturn. Saturns have character. When the Venture...

94 SC2 CTS replacement saga by Fred[_14_]
At 172,000 I just had to replace the Coolant Temperature Sensor again. The usual symptoms. Temp Light on, check engine light on. The first time I had to change it was at 158,000 miles. So that one didn't last too long. An odd thing happened though as I tried to install the new one this time. I...

I finally broke down (financially, not mechanically) and bought the set of shop manuals for my '01 LW300. I was warned that the cost would be about $140 but totally surprised when I saw the big box of manuals weighing about 20 pounds! Guess I've got a lot of reading to do now... Too bad they don't...

SL1 cylinder 1 misfire by Rodster
Does anyone have any suggestions on this problem. My SL1 gives a Cylinder 1 misfire code intermittently. It rides smooth from 0-55, then from 55-60 the car actually shakes. The code goes away about half the time and the car does not shake as much, Thanks for your input.
