I read that GM is is having a big promotion starting this Thursday and running thru July 5th - 0% for 72 months on virtually all Chevy, Buick, Pontiac Saab, GMC. So, what about Saturn !? We were planning on going to the dealer today to buy a new Vue. Now I'm wondering if we should wait and see...

02 SL1 auto shifting question by [email protected]
I have question that my Saurn dealer was unable to answer (amazing huh ?). It's an 02 SL1 automatic. We have D, 2, 1. Now i understand that D allows shifting into higher gears, whereas 1 & 2 limit the gear shifts to lower gears, going up or down hills, higher revs lessing the strain on the engine....

Please help!!!! My 2002 Saturn SL 1 is stalling by [email protected]
I am having problems with my Saturn and was even considering trading it in. The car has about 38,000 miles on it. I had the 35,000 mile tune up, oil changes every 3000 miles, spark plugs changed, ignition coils & modules change etc... This car keeps giving me a hard time when I start it up....

Any Saturn Vue / Dog owners? by Phil Marshall[_1_]
Hi: Proud owner of a new '06 Vue. Had it about two weeks now, and love it. Just one thing that I'm hoping that some has a solution for. We have a 12 year old Lab dog. We want her to travel with us in the back seat area. But I don't want to to try jumping up/down from the seat to the ground. Too...

NO AC after PCM flash on 2000 SL2 by [email protected]
Hello, Today I took my 2000 SL2 to the dealer to have the PCM flashed. I had added factory cruise control components, but the car didn't recognise it. I have been told by several people that just flashing the PCM would solve this. Well, when I took my car into the dealer everything was working...

Directions for installing towing package on Saturn Vue by scubaterry
We lost our 2003 Saturn to hurricane Wilma last year. I removed the towing package from it (minus the two bolts in fender tube). We have since bought a 2006 Vue and I want to install the package on it. Of course I threw away the directions long ago. I can figure out the tow bar part but would...

Stupid Saturn Trick by wavy
I back up a little before shifting into 1st to get around an SUV parked on the street ahead of me. Suddenly I have a very loose shifter and that sucker is in REVERSE and it aint coming OUT! The only way to disengage is clutch. No shifter progress. Takes a couple of seconds and I know where to...

Two Saturns, one key by David Teichholtz
When I bought my 97 SL1, it came with two keys. The ignition switch had been replaced and the idiots who did it did not bother to have the switch coded to the car. Today, while doing some other work to the car which involved having one of the door skins off, I decided to pull both door lock...

1995 SL Missing Cyl. by Joe[_6_]
Missing cylinder sporadically... Newish plugs, newish wires... Felt like it was running on 3.5 plugs for a month, now it feels like 3 plugs the entire time... I've heard it could be a simple sensor, but I've also heard it could be the oil eating habits fouling the plugs. Any "first things to...

vent control mode cable, 93 dohc by CBrooks
This cable, when the dash lever is pushed to the left, sends the air to the front air vents, when pushed to the right, it sends the air to the windshield. From my Haynes manual, it says there is a clip that keeps the cable onto the plastic control arm of the lever. Well my clip evidently either...

Total failure in AC revival attempt by wavy
I dont know what the problem is. I tried to inject an oil & freon charge into the low pressure side. The cheapo guage, trigger & hose that came with a larger 18oz 134a bottle that I bought at Target had a plastic reciever that wouldnt fit onto the center nipple of the dual guage manifold set, so I...

1998 SL2 - cracked cylinder? by [email protected][_1_]
I bought my 98 SL2 less than a year ago from a local used car dealer here in WV. It had 119,000 miles on it, and drove very smooth. I THOUGHT I did my homework. I did a CarFax report on it, came up perfectly clean. I took it to a good mechanic BEFORE I bought it who told me it was in excellent...
