91 LeBaron coolant leak 3.0V6 by billccm
I drove my 1991 LeBaron this afternoon from work to run an errand on the way home. The car is running like new even tjough it's odometer is showing 96K miles. Ok, I came out to the parking lot after a 15 minute soak to discover the front passeger side tire in a puddle of steaming coolant. I...

I am trying to diagnose an exhaust leak on my sister-in-laws car. Hopefully you guys can educate me on what this should look like. Is there supposed to be a clamp where the exhaust pipe connects to the exhast manifold? I see what looks like steel wool packing in the joint, however I am not...

Stratus replaced by Avenger Sedan? by [email protected]
I was looking on Dodge's website to see what the latest line-up is. I noticed that the Stratus is no longer there, but there is now an Avenger sedan. Is the Avenger sedan comparable to the Chrysler Sebring sedan? -KM

Which is more reliable? 3.5L has been around longer but not sure if the MDS in the Hemi will be problematic.

Set timing on an Intrepid by Spiral_72
First, I've searched this and come up with nothing. Kinda leads me to believe the timing is computer controlled. The Haynes manual is useless too. 95 Intrepid 3.3L (not flex fuel), 215k miles, well maintained and in good condition. How can I adjust the timing on this car?

'96 Intrepid no-start by SBlackfoot
My neighbor is having car problems. His mechanic told him to scrap it or blow over a grand on it. Pfft I say... It's a '96 Intrepid, 3.5L. From what I understand it was running great. One morning the son went to start it and it just sat there cranking, and hasn't fired since. I'm told his mechanic...

Tachometer below peg by [email protected]
Last week the battery in my 2001 Chrysler Town and Country Limited (~100K miles) was dead. I was out of town so my wife called AAA and got a jump. It stated fine and has been fine since - with one exception. The tachometer is stuck below the peg that sits below the 0 RPM mark. When the van is...

97 Intrepid Idle issue by aieo
1997 ES, 3.5L. Observation: At idle it misses a beat once and a while. You can certainly feel it and see the RPM drop off but it gets right back to normal. The whole "miss" lasts less than 1 second. The plugs/wires were recently replaced and prior to this the "missing' never occurred. Help?

I told you so. by [email protected]
When Daimler Benz purchased Chrysler, I said that I would not believe it until I saw a Penastar on a Benz. I was right! This "merger" between the 2 companies made no reason to be except one. Greed. The greed of Chrysler's management and shareholders who wanted to get in on the stock market boom...
