fuel guage/fuel pump by Elaine again ^,,^
Since my mechanic replaced the fuel pump and flushed out all the anti-freeze, the fuel gauge doesn't work, it's staying on full. Is there a fix for that? Thanks from a woman driver driving for 45 years. I love my Saturn.

Stupid question about tires by Robert P.
How likely are you to get a hole in your tires from running over a can of diet coke? My wife has had all kinds of holes in her tires, even after we put on a new set, and all I can think of is that she has been known to run over any stray cans which have fallen out of the recycle bin.

Service Cleanliness by marx404
Just a poll: How many of you find it important to get your car back from the mechanic in clean condition? If you got your car back and the seats or mats were greasy or stained, would you care? Is it Important that the shop covers your seats and floors so the mechanic doesn't get them dirty or is...

2001 L100 Tail Light by jtfogarty
My rear tail light just quit and the dealer told me I need to replace the whole assembly. Priced at $111, I told him forget it. He did mention that there's a circuit board on each tail light, and mine has failed. If so, could someone tell me if it's worth trying to fix. I can get a used assembly on...

How to adjust idle on 96 SW1 auto trans? by Chuck Connell
Hi all, The idle speed on this car seems a bit low. When stopped at a light, in drive, the idle is about 600-650 according to the tach. It sounds like it is on the verge of stalling. I'd like to raise the idle just a bit, say to 800. Is this easy to do myself? I am handy with tools, but don't want...

how to remove PCM from a 1992 sl2? by TheKorn
My wife's SL2 is toast. I'd like to remove the PCM and poke around, for no real other good reason than I'd like to poke the PCM with a sharp stick and watch it squirm. :) I've been able to get the PCM unmounted so that it's just being held on by the wires that lead into it. So far so good. ...
