Recently the check engine light in my 2000 Mazda protege came on. On checking the code I was told the problem was EGR value related. A trip to the dealer later, I'm told its about $300 in parts and $550 in labor. Is that a reasonable amount for the fix? I appreciate any insight. Thanks.
