antique temp sensor by
[email protected]
Need info on how a mechanical temp sensor works and how much
instantaneous current flows on a 6 volt unit. It is a King-Seeley
unit apparently with a pulsating contact in the sensor. It works on a
6 volt power suppy with high current available but not on a 3 amp
limited regulator! Trying to run...

Found a medieval car made in 1200 AD by
Tom-Alex Soorhull
Yes, it's really old , but still in good shape.Knights in the Middle
Ages used it to drive from castle to castle, it's an English model,
made in Sherwood Forest.
It's iron and wood, max. speed is 10 mph , works with steam-engines or
muscle-power (you need one slave for this).

I may have asked this before, but is there any vehicles that use a 13" 5
bolt on 4 1/2" (dodge) wheel? Rear wheel drive offset?

body seam sealers, panel to panel (types? brands?) by

would appreciate hearing from you guys re what general "type" sealers
and/OR specific brand names of sealant<s> you recommend for sealing
(typically spot welded) seams, steel panel to steel panel, to make them
watertight (or nearly watertight), eg:
like where inner fenders join trunk floors, and...

Welding MGA Frame by
Benj
I have just purchased a 1961 MGA MKII and I need to repair the rusted
frame. I have done some arc welding in the past, but never on a car,
nor one with positive ground (if that makes a difference). There is
no battery in the car right now, so I don't have to worry about that.
Do I need to remove...

No brake lights - 62 Falcon by
John Derickson
Can anyone give me some ideas as to what would cause the brake lights to
suddenly quit working on a 62 Falcon. There is no fuse for the brakes in
the fuse box and I don't have an electrical schematic for the car. I
checked the switch on the master cylinder and it's working good. The green
wire...

Antique Car Tires by
Luke
Hi,
I am looking for a set of 700x21-inch tires to fit a 1926 Packard.
Lester tires are available, but I would prefer something with a more
authentic tread, and not the rib tread on the Lester's.
Michelin's are discontinued, Dunlops are hard to get and $410 each
(!).
Someone recommended Bedford...
