New Civic: Flat spots on tires return after 24-48 hours? by
Nobody
I got a new Civic 3 weeks ago and have had various vibration and steering
wheel shake issues. All of the problems have been corrected (mostly by
swapping wheels with another car) except one.
The dealer gave me a set of four new wheels from another car which seemed
great until I rotated them and...

Latest mileage woes on the Civic Hybrid by
muzz
Have had the Civic Hybrid for 19 months. Normal city driving was
showing 32 mpg. Dealer inspected, could find nothing wrong, and
apparently seemed to think I ought to be satisfied, even tho they
advertise 48 mpg in town.
Received a recall on the car, and after talking to the dealer, it
apparently...

Honda Civic - Loud Engine and Slower Acceleration by
Rale
Over the past few days, I have noticed that the engine on my '99 Honda
Civic is much louder then before, particularly when accelerating and the car
feels slower/sloppier, so I need to push gas pedal more to get the same
acceleration.
Any ideas on what to could be causing this or what to check.

1990 Civic left rear wheel bearing? by
[email protected]
I got a call this afternoon from a friend who says he has a
"rumbling" noise from the left rear tire area. My first guess
was wheel bearing. He says when he turns right the noise goes
away. And that it wasn't noticable except on WET roads.
Could this be tire cupping?
I plan on going over...

idle sensor by
rnlisa
1993 Honda Accord EX idle sensor constantly surges. Recently replaced with
a used sensor, could this be the problem (needs brand new one) or could it
be an electric problem.

gas tank mistery: 3 gallon missing by
chibitul
Hi, 1997 Civic LX, 5 speed, US model.
The owner's manual says my gas tank has 11.9 US Gal. Each time the
needle reached the EMPTY line, I refilled and usually I put 8.5-9
gallons of gas. This time I wanted to try higher octane (to
troubleshoot a pinging problem) and I decided to run just a little...

Aftermarket Brake Pads by
DavidB
I don't like the way my 2002 CR-V brakes feel - not enough "bite" to
the pedal even though the brakes work fine. But I don't know anything
about this (and many other) subjects. Would ceramic pads improve the
feel of the brake pedal without sacrificing performance?

94 Civic: exhaust system replacement by
Abeness
Now that my muffler has broken off "Pipe B" and is dangling, it seems
that the time to do the exhaust has come 'round at last. I was told last
summer that my "Pipe B" was full of pinholes, but got this far.
I'd like to do the work myself to save a little, though really it's the
parts that are the...

Soft brake persists after Brake Fluid Flush. by

Hello all,
Now that summer is here and temperatures are rising above 90 (in this
part of Maryland), I have been noticing a peculiar problem with my '92
Honda Accord. Especially on a hot day (though I am not sure about this
correlation) after the car's been driven around for a bit, the...

Replacement Battery '92 Accord Question by
[email protected]
Hi, I need to buy a new battery for a 1992 Accord 2dr LX. The original
was replaced with an aftermarket and now the aftermarket is dead. Any
advice or particular brand worth buying in batteries? This replacement
was an Energizer and fell short of it's five year life span. -thanks.

I am an extremely happy owner of a 1999 Civic EX 2dr @70K miles. I am
thinking about getting a four door car since we just had a son. I know
that I want to get a new 2005 4 door Civic EX to replace the old one,
but I also looked at Mazda3 S and liked the specs and the looks (have

Changing oil on a '94 Accord LX by
R. P.
I've never done the oil change on it myself as I could not even see from
the top where the drain plug and the filter is. As I had to change the
ATF recently that turned out easier than I originally thought it would
be, I took another look at the oil drain plug and filter from under the
car...
