Airbag double deployment? by Scott Ehardt
I'm skeptical of this story, but I don't know much about airbag systems. Has anyone heard of this happening? Does it even make any sense? ------------------------- My brother was recently in a car accident and was lucky not to be hurt. I went with him when he took the car to the body shop and...

300C Chrome Wheels by Peter A. Stavrakoglou
I and many others have experienced a problem with the chrome wheels on the 300C - the wheels are all pitting and the finish is peeling. I've learned that the chrome finish is actually a plastic chrome finish. Chrysler is replacing the wheels and supposedly have remedied the defect.

Battery problem by harrym
Our 98 Voyager has a battery problem. My wife turned the key on to roll up the windows during a shower yesterday and didn't turn it back off. The battery was dead this morning. I jumped it and it started just fine. But the rear windowwiper, recirculating, and air conditioning lights are...

LH / Intrepid A/C clutch cycle time by Tim
On my 1999 Intrepid ES, the air conditioner compressor cycles about every 15-20 seconds (making a slight hissing sound as the a/c clutch engages). Is this a normal cycle time? The factory service manual doesn't specify how often the a/c should cycle. To me, it seems a bit too frequent and will...

Transmission leaks, 41TE, 1994 Caravan by [email protected]
The car is a 1994 Dodge Caravan, Mistu-leaky 3.0L V6, 41TE automatic overdrive transmission. It has about 150,000 miles on it right now. We've had a transmission leak for a while, but it's been small and not worth finding/fixing. It would go through a quart a week or so. But the past few days it...

'95 Talon unexpected rust problem by [email protected]
My '95 Eagle Talon has alot of rust around the right front strut tower, such that the upper part of the 'A' arm is no longer attached to the car. Every repairman I've talked to said driving on it was "dangerous" and fixing it would take a lot of time (which equals expensive). The car is in great...

Intrepid wheel bearings by Tim
I couldn't find any information about lubricating the bearings on my 1999 Intrepid. Is there anything I should do for maintenance or are they "permanently" lubricated? Also while I'm at it, is there anything on the car that needs attention from a grease gun from time to time? I've noticed a...
