CV Halfshaft color codes? by [email protected]
Hello all: I want to replace the passenger side CV Halfshaft of my 91 Civic Hatchback (3Dr Std). It already has been replaced once before (a few years ago) with a remanufactured axle by the dealer. When I went to Autozone web site for replacement CV halfshafts (remanufactured), it asks for a color...

DIY Oil change-Filter removal by [email protected]
Hello all: Try this when you unscrew that old oil filter off the engine block. Take an old cotton sock, cut the "toe-end" to create a tube. Roll the tube into a doughnut. Before you unscrew the oil filter, put the cotton doughnut over the filter and push it along the filter until snug against the...

I work at Lujack Honda, just wondering if anyone else here works in a dealership. We have 15 different vehicle franchises here and about 150 salespeople, not counting the techs, body shop and the front desks. This is a BIG place. Anyone familar with Gurley Leep from South Bend, In? -- Aimmers

airbag disconnect -93 accord - to change wiper switch by [email protected]
I need to change the wiper switch stalk on my steering column. I thought I'll attempt this myself since it seems simple, except for the airbag part. I think the haynes manual says I have to be careful because of the airbag. (car has a driverside airbag) If I disconnect the battery, then pull the...

wiper/head light problems - 93 accord by [email protected]
When I turn my headlights on, I get a delay of about 2 seconds before it comes on. This doesn't seem normal to me. I am also expereincing some wiper problems. When I turn it on, it takes quite a bit of time to come on (5 sec). Sometimes it doesn't come on at all. If I hold the stalk down it...

Honda timing belt tension by [email protected]
I just replaced the timing belt on my 2000 Honda Accord and it sort of runs OK. I am not sure I did it 100% right. There is grinding noise from the timing belt teeth now and then when the engine runs slowly. I drove the car to work today on the highway and it runs fine when the engine is up to...

Condensation removal.... by ajpdla
Condensation on the inside windows. I hate it. How do I get rid of it? What's the cause of it? Why does it take so long to remove with the defroster? How can I seal up the outside of my car. What's the best way to check for air/water infiltration. Ugh. Help! :)

1995 Passport - Overheating after Timing belt tensioner change -- belts removal/installation by ajpdla
I think I'm overheating because the alternator belt is too loose. Is this a correct assumption, or is it one of the other two belts under the hood? Unfortunately, it's raining like a mother here (Oregon) tonight, with 75mph winds to boot. So I have time to ask for advice. :) Aaron
