Courtesy lights go on when I lift the door handle by
mm
My courtesy lights normally go on when I lift the door handle. That's
good, but one of the switches is failing, and Chrysler has
discontinued the part. It's part of the "illuminated entry" "system".
I know they used it in high-end Chrysler leBaron's from at least 1988
to 1995, but such cars are...

I have been getting various DTC codes of P0351,353 353 etc. I have changed
plugs and the changed coil. Ran good for about 1500 miles, then DTC came
back. It wasn't running bad. Cleared codes but came right back and ran badly
after. Changed out coil again and cleared codes. Ran good. About 1000...

2002 GC Steering Noise... by
NewMan
I have a 2002 Grand Caravan. When the van is "cold" first thing in the
morning, there is a nasty noise coming from the steering system -
kinda sounds like Godzilla.
Once the van has warmed up - after 20 or more minutes, the noise goes
away.
This noise is directly related to the movement of the...

2000 Concorde 3.2 Liter - trunk lock by
Carey
Need advice Electric trunk lock
It stopped working a few years back and the dealer quoted over $500 to fix.
Lately I decided to try it myself - went to junk yard and bought a new
electric lock for the trunk. I swapped it out with the original and it
still would not work with either the...

Hi, Gang:
I have an 89 Grand Caravan that, despite 201k miles on the clock, still
runs and looks pretty good. Of course, its on its third tranny and
second engine...but that's another Caravan tale... :)
During a long road trip a few months ago, my A/C compressor more or
less died. I had the...

Diesel powered Caravan - issues?? by
Tmac-100
I will be moving to Dubai soon and am wondering about the diesel powered
caravan that is available there and in Europe.
Has any reader owned one? If so what are the experiences with the diesel
engine there? Any negative or service issues that I should be aware of?

Steering issue-2000 Concorde by
oldcarnut
This problem popped up recently and I'm wondering if anyone has had any
experience with this issue. My steering is normal when driving or
whenever the engine speed is above about 1200 rpm. However, when the
engine speed is low, as when pulling in or out of a parking space, I
hear a terrible...

We Knew It! Black Churches Sell Out To CAR Dealers! by
MissSouth
We knew it was just a matter of time, didn't we?
Well, it's happening. Black churches, especially those megachurches
that are springing up all around the United States, are joining hands
with auto makers like Chrysler (Daimler-Chrysler) to forge partnerships
in business. Yep. But it's all about...

Rented a RWD Magnum in wintery Montana - Yuk! by
NowItsWhatever
I grew up driving RWD cars in Minnesota winters, so I know how it's done. For
the past 15 years I have driven FWD cars, frequently to ski areas in winter
conditions.
People who say RWD vehicles are just as good as FWD on ice and snow are just
plain wrong. FWD is far superior in those...
