more than a few minutes.
This started with a timing set replacement due to a catastrophic failure
of one of the pulleys.
It seems now that the belt is slipping on the crankshaft pulley as best
as I can tell. I say this...

Replacing Transmission Modulator Valve by
Tube Audio
Hi
I have a 1990 Ford Ranger 4.0L V6 and the 4ALD transmission.
I need to replace the modulator.
What is the best way to do this. I've heard that some people remove the
carpet and remove the plate in the floor of the cab and get to i that way,
or can I work from under the truck?

Bar's Head Gasket Repair, another follow-up... by
Hachiroku $B%O%A%m%/(B
Well. It finally stopped snowing/icing enough (actually got near 50
degrees for a minute today) for me to change the oil on the Subaru GL
Hatch that had the Head Gasket Repair stuff thrown in.
Pleasing results. I did not see any green around the gaskets where I had
seen it before the 'repair',...

Radio automatic turnoff: nothing can go wrong go wrong go wrong by
Ad absurdum per aspera
I think I found a bug^undocumented feature of wildcard utility...
Current-ish model 4-door Impala (2007, I think, though conceivably an
'08) in our motor pool. When you turn the ignition switch off and
close the door, the radio goes off. So far so good.
Then you realize you need to log the...

Alignment Question by
Tube Audio[_2_]
I just replaced the struts and tie rods on my 1984 rabbit.
When I put the struts back in I just put the upper bolt in and tightened it,
did not pay any attention to the position (camber adjustment) as I knew I
would be taking it in for an alignment

mark
I have a 2002 silverado 4wd and I am getting a rough scraping or
grinding noise from the front right wheel. Not the brakes. This
happens in 2 and 4wd and is much louder when doing a left turn or lane
change to the left . What is this, a bad wheel bearing? I raised the
truck on a hoist and the axle...
