B&S Engine Off-season Storage: drain gas tank or stabilize? by Jim

After I run it for a little while to warm it up and then change the oil, should I keep running it to drain the gas from the tank/carb, or should I keep gasoline in the tank and rely on...

86 Grand Am clutch/starter question by [email protected]
1986 Pontiac Grand Am, maual, 5-speed. This model has a safety mechanism where you normally have to engage the clutch or the starter won't crank. If you mash the clutch down only 1/2 or 2/3 way, the engine wouldn't crank; you had to press it almost to the floor, but not quite.. And for years this...

Another question, stiffness and noise in power steering. by Rob
My 2000 Malibu has stiffness in the steering and also a noise when turning. It's not really a squealing noise, it's more like the noise you get when wiping a window...if that makes any sense. I have noticed stiffness in the steering for over a year now. It hasn't really gotten anyworse. I'm...

what bends when wheels go out of alignment? by Ted Johnson
Let's say your car is in perfect alignment, and then your wife drives it for a few years and: o hits a few potholes, and o pulls in too far and hits the front tires against the cement block at the end of the parking stall Now the car is out of alignment (pulls to one side a bit at freeway speeds).

Ford Festiva no power by rush
Greetings, I've got a '92 Festiva, with fuel injection auto trans, that has no power going up hills. It acts like it's "dogging out". It's ok on level ground, but when you take off, or go uphill, it loses all power. It's better at higher RPM's The former owner took off the cat to see if that was...
