GEM module question by
Twano
I've been having problems with my power locks working, they don't unlock

Theft light fix by
George Skarupa
The intermittant flashing (while the truck is off) THEFT light would stay
lit while the truck was running. Replaced the six and one-half year old
battery and solved the problem.

Brian - I am having the same problem. Did you ever find out what was
causing the bucking? It does seem to only happen when it's snowing.
Thanks

Rear hatch door will not open - 98 XLT by
Ivanoff
The hatch door on the very rear of the explorer is stuck, the key won't
unlock it to open the window and hitting the lock/unlock buttons won't
unlock it to open the hatch/door. Anybody ever experienced this or know
how to to fix it, or at least get the rear panel off.

For last month had loud sqeeking sound from right front. Thought something
needed greasing so took it in to dealer. They say no grease fittings;
replace upper and lower control arms(??) . Veh has 58000 miles. Steers and
rides good. Is this reasonable? Thanks

Radius Arm Bushings FYI by
AZGuy
I just had to replace the passenger side radius arm bushings on my 92
yet AGAIN. The last ones I put on were some fairly costly ones from
NAPA that were mostly hard plastic. They only lasted about 10K miles
of city driving. I don't recall the source of the ones before that
but they too were...
