The intermittant flashing (while the truck is off) THEFT light would stay lit while the truck was running. Replaced the six and one-half year old battery and solved the problem.

Rear hatch door will not open - 98 XLT by Ivanoff
The hatch door on the very rear of the explorer is stuck, the key won't unlock it to open the window and hitting the lock/unlock buttons won't unlock it to open the hatch/door. Anybody ever experienced this or know how to to fix it, or at least get the rear panel off.
