Help...my gears are stuck in 4WD by
[email protected]
I own a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Limited, and I recently popped her into 4WD
to navigate through some muddy terrain. Unfortunately, when I got
back onto normal road, the 4WD gear shift would not allow me to shift
back into 2WD. I've tried everything the manual says. I even got so
mad that I used my...

Hi, I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota with a 2.5L 4 cylinder. It has a 5 spd.
trans, and i need to know what kind it is. I am wondering if a 3.9L V-6 or
a 5.2L V8 will mount to this transmission. If neither of these will, does
anyone know any other motor that will? thanks

Help! Does this vehicle exist? by
pshermanfl
Due to specific cargo needs, I am looking for a new (not used) SUV-type
vehicle no smaller than a pre-2007 Honda CR-V, on which the back window
opens independently of the door (not a huge problem to find) and on which
the remainder of the back door opens (as on pre-2007 Honda CR-Vs) to the
side,...

I have had to do is basic servicing. I have had zero faults. Last
weekend it would not start (no spark or fuel being injected), and a
friend towed me home. I have since spent several hours on the web to
try and find a fix. I...

[email protected]
I purchased an 84 CJ7 this past summer and at the time of purchase I
tested the 4wd and it seemed to work fine. I have not attempted to use
the 4wd until today, as we have a large snow in the forecast so I
thought I would test it out.
Here is what is happening. When I turn the hubs for 4wd I...

Is there any easy way to get the age of a vehicle or the date it was
built off the car? It is an imported Nissan X-Trail from Cyprus but
there is no way of telling when the vehicle was built from the VIN
plate - is this information recorded elsewhere on the car? Or would I
need a Nissan dealer to...
