I have a 2000 xls 4 door 4wd with the 4.0 ohv i bought the truck used with 63k miles on it the motor had 30k it now has 93k miles when i start it up the motor seems to very loud more when it's cold out when it warms up it gets quieter but stills seems a little loud some time it sounds like a diesel...

My 93 Explorer 4.0L V6 4x4 needs an engine - 95 Windstar 3.8L V6 needs a transmission by Kirk J.
