4 Wheel disc, How does the Park Brake work. by
[email protected]
This is my first car(Element) with 4 wheel Disc Brake instead of drum/
Rear.
How does it work, and can I still use it as an Emergency brake, or to
go down a slippery hill, ABS intereferes with that if it's too
slippery, like mud etc.

Parking brake won't grab on one side. by
Meatman
Last CRX post, I promise! 88 CRX DX. Just did rear drums and shoes
install. Adjusted parking brake on jackstands per the manual.
However with parking brake fully engaged one rear wheel barely (if at
all) has any drag to it at all. And I can see that the PB arm/lever
behind the trailing shoe...

newbie Honda CR-V questions by
limehand[_2_]
Hello Honda People!
I have almost bought a 1999 CR-V and was wondering if I could start my
education here with a few questions?( But if I should go and read a CR-
V 101 somewhere maybe someone could point me there?)
The car was originally registered in Canada. Is it the same car that
was imported...

Element AWD by
[email protected]
I've got a 2003 Honda Element with Real Time AWD, and am wondering if
the rear end gets engaged when making a tight turn. This thing has a
very tight turning circle and I'm concerned the difference in wheel
speed can cause the 4wd to engage? Am I off the wall thinking this?

Any accessory to cover top of window when parked? by
Yong Huang
In summer, I like to roll down the window a little bit to keep the
inside cool. The problem is when it starts to rain, I have to rush to
my car and close the window. Is there some accessory I can install
near the top of the window so it stops rain from getting in? I don't
intend to drive the car...

CRX ECU solders cracked? Also ECU v ELD charge problem. by
Meathead
1988 CRX DX M/T. And some symptoms you might need to know if you read
far enough into this. New batt and alt. I do pizza driving at night,
so consider. Full batt will run down, dash lights dim, headlights,
etc at idle. You know the drill. NO parasitic draw (tested simple
way and in series w/...

CRX quarter window/glass gasket/moulding by
Meatman
88CRX DX. Does the exterior trim moulding/gasket run ALL the way
around and butt directly into the vertical piece on the would-be B-
pillar? Or is there supposed to be a 1.5-2" horiz gap at the top
between the vert piece and where the window trim piece starts? Both
sides of mine are like this. ...

1990 Honda Accord - Glue Side Door Upholstery by
John R. Reyes
One of my inside door panel's cloth upholstery has begun to fall off. What
kind of glue should I purchase (or does it have to be applied with a heat
gun)to make the repair myself? Should I just take it an upholstery shop?
Would like the repair to look nice, the car is in very good condition...
