Front lockers by
Zenteren
I have short wheel base 4x4 vehicle (Suzuki Samurai) with manual hubs on
front axles, allready have rear manual locker.
Never driving with 4x4 engaged on the paved roads, only hubs are locked and
in 2 wheel drive.
Is it better to put auto locker or manual locker in the front?

Dakota 4X4 L/S Differential by
Richard Lyons
I was always under the impression if you turned one wheel forward the
opposite one should turn forward as well, with a limited slip diff. and
all wheels off the ground. Mine, however, turns the opposite direction.
Does this mean I have a one wheeler?

Hello everyone,
This is my first post to this newsgroup.
Last week I had the fantastic opportunity to go offroading in a Land Rover
Discovery on the beaches of Padre Island...a 30 mile stretch of nothing but
sand dunes, mud, and tall grass. We packed 7 people (including the driver) into

Land Rover Discovery Evaporator fan relay location by
Mike
Hi
Wha can tell me where the evaporator fan relay is located in my 1992
V8i Disco? It is not behind either of the front footwell panels, nor
behind the fuse box. Other models might use the same location, so feel
free to reply! Thanks.

1996 Ford Ranger 4wd problem by
Tom
My Ford Ranger with 45k miles is having difficulty getting into 4wd.
Sometimes it goes right in but usually, it takes a while (a minute or
so) and it seems as if it isn't really fully engaged as I get an
occasional clunk like gear teeth slipping to the next tooth.
Eventually, it seems to settle...

Would a Jeep be your choice ? by
Iowa883
As posted earlier, I am wanting something for off road. Well, I could also
use something to plow my driveway out in the winter. I am considering a Geo
Tracker or Suzuki but I know they won't hold a plow. How about a Jeep like a
CJ5 or Wrangler series ?
What would you guys recommend ?
Thanks,
