1988 Jeep Wrangler Price ? by reconair
If the previous owner took care of the rig, i.e. regular oil changes, lube, $2200 would be a good buy. Even if the body looked a little ragged out. I have 240K on my 91 Wrangler and I wouldn't let go for less than twice the amount this guy is asking. Scott --

2003 Ford Ranger problem by [email protected]
I just bought a 2003 Ford Ranger 4x4 with 13,000 miles on it. It has a standard 5 speed transmission. When I shift from first into second gear, I hear a clunk when I let the clutch out in second. Kind of sounds like slack is being taken up in the drive train. I was wondering if this is normal...

Hitch mounted Hi Lift jack? by Rob Gendreau
Is anyone aware of a hitch mount for a Hi-Lift jack? I've got a front 2" receiver that's empty most of the time, and I was wondering if anyone made a carrier that would slide into it upon which I could mount my Hi-Lift jack (horizontally). I suppose I could fabricate something, but I'd still like...

Photos from my Jeep! by Jeff Alu
I have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee which I've abused a bit (Currently it has no front bumper, since I had to rip it off to get a tow after being stuck in the mud in a "dry" lake for eight hours...) But my Jeep has taken me to many of my favorite off-road locations in the California desert for...

88 Silverado one front and one rear wheel drive while in 4 Hi range? Why??? by Drizler
I have an old 88 with 160000 mi and it has a strange behavior lately. I got it stuck and found that only the drivers front and pax rear wheels are driving. I had the offending front axle just replaced and it did it before that so it sort of eliminates that possibility. The fluids seem to be ok...

free auto listings for CA residents by Please
www.caliautoweb.com is a new website where you can buy and sell cars in the california area. The site is brand new and looks like they compete with autotrader.com and others, but right now it may be a bug but you can list your car for free.
