Read in a few places that the 94 1.8 is limited at 7000RPM. Mine seems to spin a bit further than this, looks like 7200 on the tacho. Anyone confirm what it really is?

Ive changed coolant temp sensor,thermostat,flushed and refilled my radiator.My car is still overheating the water pump has recently been replaced and the system has no leaks.Could anyone point me in the direction as to what else may cause this.It will run about 45min to 1hr before overheating.
