NA wheel differences by Jeroen Feelders
Hi guys, As many of you might know Mazda used many different suppliers for their Miata-parts. One of those parts is the original 14"x5,5" 7-spoke alloy found on 89-93 Miatas (http://www.miata.net/faq/images/91alloy.jpg), as the technical committee found out last weekend. One of the members of...

Window (monitor?) shopping and came across what I consider to be a great deal on an 04 north of Houston (Conroe, TX). Only six thousand miles for $15.6k. It's Titanium (the only acceptable 04 MSM color ;-) with cloth interior. Check it out on autotrader.com if interested. I wish I could go get...

O2 sensor replacement by Chris D'Agnolo
My 99 now has ~81k and the CEL came on the other day. I checked the code and it indicates the #2 O2 sensor (down stream from the cat) is not sending a signal. I scooted under the car and fiddled around with it a bit. I saw where it into the interior of the car through the floor board behind the...

Headlight leak in '99 Miata by Rick Cook
My 99 has always been garaged, until lately. I live in San Diego where it hardly rains and have never noticed moisture inside my headlight lens, until now. The car has been parked in the driveway for several months, we've had some rain and now water has condensed inside the driver-side lens; I...

OT>The Spoofing Poster by Jazz_Azz
Well folks after reporting this clown to Google Grps. Abuse, I notice that they are no longer showing any new ones on Google grps, somehow blocking them. BUT when I accessed this grp., however Webtv does it, on my Webtv unit (Yes I still enjoy using that for the Firewalled WTV grps.) I notice that...

Where are you and your Miata? by Chris D'Agnolo
Well, Pat (PWS) has mentioned a couple of times that only a small handful of folks hang out on this group these days. While I'm not usually inclined to try to prove him wrong, on this particular issue, I would love to. Would everyone who see's this message, please reply with CITY, STATE (and...

Hooked up the charger/maintainer that I got from J.C. Whitney today, a Vector VEC080 "Smart Battery Charger". And since a poster in this grp. alerted me that the cigarette lighter connector would not work, cause of the ignition key needing to be in and on accessory, I used the "Battery Terminal...

Is it Ok to Use Hard Suspension Pads on a 2004 with standard suspension? by Sheldon Rudie
Just ordered replacement pads for my 2004 miata thinking I'd be getting the NS pads. When I checked the part # - N0Y9-33-23Z on my invoice, it appears to be for HD or sport suspension front pads. I was told by the dealership that they use the car's Vin # JM1NB353840400298 to ascertain the...

A little long before firing up - family trademark or is my car alittle sick? by Bruno
I find that when starting my 1999 NB 1.8 it takes about a second before the engine fires up. Or to put in different words it takes just slightly long enough for me to notice and think "Huh!". This seems to be regardless of ambient temperatures and only if the car has been out running within the...

Tool for removing Inner Tie Rod - 1999 Miata by MiataNut
Does anyone know where I can get the tool needed to remove/replace the inner tie rods on a 1999 Miata? The Mazda dealer does not sell the tool. Can't find a store that sells a tool that is explicitly labelled for the Miata. Thanks for your help.
