Booster seat for the driver??? by
Dano[_1_]
Hey all, we just got a 2006 - and we are having a blast of course. My
fiance however is 5 feet tall and would like a seat cushion or
something to get her a little taller in the seat. Any recomendations?
Thanks.

Just wondering after the fact... by
Ted King
I have a 2002 Miata. I did a dumb thing - I wasn't paying close
attention and took a corner a little too close. The rear wheel rode up
on the edge of the curb just enough to pinch the sidewall on the rim and
ruin the tire (sidewall got a hole in it - fortunately the rim just got
a little scuff...

Boycott Gettysburg by

Link to Gettysburg photos showing the Gettysburg battlefield before
superintendent John Latschar's ego ran amok and ruined it.

We loved Gettysburg: married there, took dozens of week-long trips, spent
many thousands of dollars there, and even considered moving there....

1994 miata stalled and now won't start by
nano-miata
Hi,
I have a 1994 miata. Back in March I started to have a few problems.
I noticed that the tachometer stopped working and then on the way home
one night the car just died and rolled to a stop. Since I have
~120,000 miles (~60,000 since the last timing belt change), I figured
that the two...

Running a/c with top down by
Eric Baber
Yes, another a/c question. I've been e-mailing someone about the new
refrigerant and he said that his mechanic told him to only ever use the a/c
when the top is up. His reason is that if you left a refrigerator door open
for hours it would overheat and break down. I don't agree with that,...

Oil Pressure Gauge by
Remove This
Pardon my Question, But I haven't had a car with an actual OP gauge for many
years. I've noticed when
driving my '06 MX-5, that when I'm idling at a light, (warmed up) the OP
gauge has a tendency to drop to 2 or 3 lines above the low indicator (fat
line on left). As soon as I rev the engine or...

Heater hose.... by

Was on my way to a job site today in my "new" '95. About two miles from my
destination I noticed the AC suddenly go warm. Checked the gauges and
noticed the temp climbing. Drove about a 1/2 mile on HOT. (There was NO
place to stop for help......deserted area next to refinery) Quick look under
the...

Shimmy by
Carbon[_1_]
My recently purchased 04 Miata has the famous 65mph shimmy, though it
seems worst at 70-72mph. I bought the car anyway, just because it's so
perfect in every other area I figured I could live with it if I had to.
I mentioned the problem to one of my co-workers who has a lot of muscle
cars and the...

MD/Tape Input on Radio by
AlanRab
Can I somehow use the MD/Tape input on the Radio/CD Changer that came
standard with my '03 SE as an input for an MP3/WMA player instead? If
so, is there an input jack behind the head unit that I can easily access
for such purposes?

Protege Timing Belt by
Felix Miata
Are these the same basic engine as in a Miata? '91. How long should it
take to change one? Flat rate book says 2.0, but who knows how real that
is for self work. Does broken belt mean bent valves on this engine?
Google found me a thread from here that says broken belt doesn't mean
bent valves on a...
