Add cruise control to S-Series? by Matt O'Toole
I've been looking at used Saturns, especially the SW2. Many of them are great, but don't have cruise control. Is it practical to add it? What's needed, and how much do the parts cost? Matt O.

Are Saturn owners mostly democrats? by Oppie
Not wild about the choices. Trouble with elections is that no matter who you vote for, you always wind up with a politician. Been a lifelong Republican but even so, see Bush as the better of the two. Just my $0.02 worth and hopefully the election will be decided this time...

egr solenoid by [email protected]
When applying +12v to this solenoid, with wiring harness disconnected, should it just make a barely audible click noise that indicates it's working? Still trying to get to the bottom of a code 26. Hoping it isn't the purge canister solenoid which is harder to fix.

Vibration by Scott
Hello, I just had a new oil pan installed on my 1996 Saturn SC2. The drain in my old one was stripped, so I was using rubber plugs, which I don't like, so I had a new pan installed. Anyway, when I got my car back, it vibrates like crazy now, especially when I am still, like at a traffic light,...

rough shifting '02 L100 w/ 41,000 mi by Keith
I am into month 3 of an intermittent shifting problem. 98% of the time shifting is smooth, the problem arises usually when the car is warmed up. Symptoms of the poor shifting will be a delay past the usual rpm point of shifting with a "slamming type kick in the pants" changing of gears. The dealer...

How accurate is 32 MAP sensor code(95SL2) by lightplum95
I have approx. 138K miles on a 95 SL2. The motor quit twice now; once while my wife was slowing down to 25mph and with me while coming to a stop from a slow speed of about 30mph. So far, the motor hasn't quit after it has warmed up. I used an Autoxray 2000 to scan for codes. The only code present...

Battery and Alternator question by Wurm
Hey all, Driving in to work today, for the first time since I've owned my Saturn (SL2, 98, bought used in 2001) my battery indicator light came on. Now, I've heard and read in the past about the problems that Saturns have with alternators, and if you get your alternator changed you should get...

Traction Control not working by Lee3333
After my local Saturn dealer replaced my broken PCM, the ABS light was on and the TCS status light would not stay on. I had a code 35 (right rear sensor)but the resistance checked out ok. I bought a replacement ABS computer but it did not fix the problem. This morning I noticed that the wire...

Starting/idle problem by William Hughes
1995 SW2 DOHC auto a/c @184,000 Problem: Starts hard when cold, must floor accelerator, blows blue-gray smoke for about five seconds after start. Will not start at all when hot; just cranks and barely fires. Acts like it's flooded. Runs fine when it does start, although idle speed is high (@1,100...
