2007 CRV Headrest by
[email protected]
I purchased the car so I could go on long trips.I realize the safety
issue. I tend to sit way back in the seat so my head would be within a
few inches of a straighter headrest,Right now I am using a headrest
from a 05 accord which is about an inch and a half back and my head is
still hitting it. I...

Looking for compatable headrest for 2007 CRV by
[email protected]
I just picked up a 2007 CRV and after driving 45mins home I had a
stiff neck and backache I could'nt beleive. The headrest is angled
right into the back of my head so I could not sit comfortably in the
drivers seat. I tried adjusting the seat and headrest into different
positions but nothing...

How many Hondas have you owned? by
Dave Garrett
I recently got to thinking about the Hondas I've owned and how the cars
have changed over the years. When I bought my first one, Hondas had a
well-earned reputation for high reliability and economy coupled with
innovative engineering. I still have trouble believing that a top-of-
the-line Civic...

HAH 3 cylinder mode a scam? by
Kevin McMurtrie
My soon-to-be-lemoned 2005 Accord Hybrid had the engine light flashing
again while merging onto the freeway. This time the engine light stayed
on and the 3 cylinder mode was disabled. I reset the trip meter to
check the new milage. It's better. Mixed milage increased from 25 MPG
to 28 MPG...

2001 Civic SRS light on - NO trouble code! by
corman
Hello.
I've been having a problem with the SRS light on my 2001 Civic
recently. It stays on all the time (well, almost all the time - see
below for an explanation).
I took it in to a Honda dealer, who diagnosed it as what they called an
'intermittent failure' with no trouble code. They reset the...

Looking at Some Used Hondas by
Elle
As the regulars here know, I have got a kick out of working
on my 1991 Civic over the years. But (1) it has rust around
the gills and I want to look sportier (I surrender to
vanity); (2) I think for the next several years I will
always fear that it has a major engine breakdown yada and I
will...

Engine races on 1990 Honda by
ldan
The engine on my 1990 is racing--reving up to 2000 rpms then dropping
back to 1000 rpms--continuously while in drive and also while idling.
Any ideas what could be causing this problem and how to fix it?

Honda 4cylinder vs 6cylinder by
Jeff Johnson
I have a civic I was considering trading in. During service at the
Honda dealer today I ask the tech about the v6. He told he would stay
away from the v6,,they are always coming in for service with
transmission problems. He said the v6 overpowers the transmission. So
are the Honda 4cylinder really...

Gas pump shuts off early, EVAP code by
[email protected]
My 99 Accord has a problem. When I go to fill up gas,
the pump shuts off every few liters or so.
The only way around this is to pump the gas in way slower or
keep hitting the gas handle.
Also around the same time the check engine light has came on,
with an EVAP system code.
Is a blocked fill tube...

"Honda planned its truck well" by
Mike
Honda planned its truck well
Honda Motor Co.'s modus operandi has been to analyze trends and
situations, and then to come up with a better idea followed by an
exemplary execution of that idea, or collection of ideas, prior to
instituting production of a new vehicle.

The castle nut on my lower ball joint won't move. The pin is removed
and it just won't spin. I'm at the point of almost completely

off?
Thanks for your help.

After starting a brake job on my Acura I ran into a problem trying to
push the caliper piston back in. I've always used the old "Big C Clamp"
trick to squeeze them back into place... but it wasn't working on my
Vigor.
I tried Googling the various groups looking for help or secrets on how
