Shift indicator light burned out on 95 Civic by DesignGuy
On my 1995 Civic, the first drive indicator light (D4?) is burned out on console. The others (P, R, N, other D's) still work. Is this an easy fix or must the dash be taken apart to get to it?

any advice for changing valve guide seals? 90 Civic Ex 1.6L 5spd by Bruce
I have a little puff of blue smoke on startup, none while it's being driven. I've been told this indicates worn valve guide seals and that it's possible to change the seals with the head on the block. Anyone ever done this? I've seen it discussed here, something about using compressed air to hold...

The SRS (Supplemental Restraint System, i.e. airbags) light came on again in my 2002 Civic. This is the third time I've had this problem, and it isn't cheap to fix. There are quite a few complaints already at http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/ivoq/. If you've had this problem, but haven't registered a...

question regarding battery behavior by [email protected]
Hi, I have a 98 Accord EX. I replaced the battery 20 months ago with a 72 month battery. Last week I could not start the car without a jump. I put my charger on the battery and it would appear to charge up to 100% fairly quickly. If I tried to start the car I'd get one good kick which seemed...

Hi all, I just bought a used 2001 Honda Civic and I love it!! Question though...Should I get the car professionally rustproofed? The car has the original factory ristproffing already. I can tell because there is a residue in the trunk, hood, etc. (all 'rust prone' areas). I am trying to save...

91 accord doesn't start by wannadoitmyself
My '91 accord has problems starting. It will start when outside temp. has cooled down. But sometimes it will not, even when it's cold. I thought about the fuel pump, but I read about other's questions in regard to similar problems, and the solution given the most was about a RELAY. Could this be...
