Idiotic impersonator by
Blah blah
I come in here to check up on whats going on and there was a flood of
post. I was wondering what was with all the stupid recipe crap and who's
ever doing this is rotating IP's with a anonymizer type program. However
those IP's keep logs of people logging on and if they want to try
something illegal...

Opinions on the 2002 L100. by
Rob
Hey, I test drove a 2002 Saturn L100 the other day and was wanting any good
or bad opinions on this model. It had 64k on it for 9000, about the only bad
thing I could find was a little shake coming from the right front tire area.
Do these models have the steel timing chain or a rubber belt that may...

SL1 1.9 Oil Burner by
No1z fool
I understand this is a common problem. Does anyone have any success dealing
with the dealer on this issue? Mine is going through a quart in 250 miles, with
only 50,000 miles on the car and impecable service records.
Thanks.

water leaks into front of instrument panel by
jdcamper
can anyone shed any light on why my 1996 SL-1 Saturn is leaking water into
the area under the instrument panel on the driver side. Water flows down
the console and puddles in the divers floor panel. Appears to be coming
down in front of windshield into an area near the rubber flap on the
engine...

2000 SL2 by
George K.
My wife and I just purchased a 2000 SL2. This may sound crazy, but I
can't find where to check the antifreeze level. I see the radiator, but
not the cap. The car didn't come with an owners manual, so I ordered one
off of ebay. Can someone please tell me where the radiator cap is???
Thanks for your...

92 DOHC SL2 engine miss by
Rogers
Hi,
My 92 DOHC SL2 Saturn pulses noticeably at low speeds (higher also, but less
obvious). It's like someone is playing with the gas pedal. I've changed the
spark plug wires and plugs: no improvement. A mechanic also suggested I
spray water on the coil packs to see if they are shorting: no change...

LW300 cruise control surging by
Oppie
As I had written previously, the cruise control in my '01 lw300 was surging
when going at about 50 mph on level ground and then starting an uphill
climb.
Had it in for a state inspection today and asked the sevice writer about
this. They checked and said that they found a code (none that I could...

Shift cables for manual trans. on 96 SL2 by
Staub29
One of the shift cables on my 96 SL2 broke, and the dealer wants $200.00
for the new ones. Does any one know if there is any where else I can get
them? Also is this a common problem?

Another Saturn 96 SL1 starting problem solved, Hope it helps someone else by
Saturn Headache
I have been fighting different problems with my Saturn 96 SL1 for over
a year now. Besides the poor engineering, alarm system from hell, and
various other quirks this latest issue might help others. I had a
battery that was less than two years old and when jump started the car
ran fine. The...

Vue instrument cluster by
Leicaman
I have looked over the Vue and I tell you what, they really screwed
themselves when they put that instrument pod in the center. I for one will
not be going for my third Saturn ('93 SL2 and '99 SL2) this year. What on
earth were they thinking. I know that there are several other cars that
have...

$500 car by
[email protected]
I would have bought a new Saturn quite a long time ago except that mine
keeps going.
Every time I go into a dealership they offer a trade in of $500 on my
SL2, leather seats, CD player etc. Yes, I understand they dont want a
12 year old car with 120,000 miles on it. But it works fine,...

How do I get the seatbelts to zip back up again by
K.W.
When my car was new the seatbelts zipped right up when I unbuckled. Now it
seems like you have to pull them and put effor into making them go back up.
Anybody have any ideas how to put the pep back in my buckles? Thanks.

Aiming headlights on 1993 SC-2 by
MPost
I have a '93 SC-2 with flip-up headlights. I've noticed lately that I'm
having trouble seeing at night, especially when it's raining out. I replaced
both bulbs with Sylvania Silverstars, which helped a little. However, I'm
suspecting that my headlights are just aimed too high, which is preventing...

A parts reminder by
Louis Hom
I don't live near a dealer, so when my car died I had it towed to a local
garage that I know. Turned out that the car ('98 SL2) needed a new
ignition control module. Holy shmokes, the garage said the part would
cost $500. Well, a call to the Autozone down the block saved me $300.
The garage said...
