Rear wiper refill for Civic Hatchback by
Abner
Does anyone know where you can get a rear wiper refill for a Civic Hatchback.
I don't have the little metal strip that you need to use with a OEM Honda
refill (who's bonehead idea was THAT?). Before I've always been able to
find one that just slid right in. All that seems to be available now...

2k 'Lude Stereo by
ac
Hi,
My 2K 'Lude's stereo is sounding not too good these days. If I
change the stock speakers and add an amp, would I get good sound?
How's the quality of the stock radio? Does it have line out?
Thanks

Check out the web site www.tirerack.com and refer to their survey
results. These are comprised of customer ratings and are very accurate
so long as the "Total Miles Reported" column has a...

Timing belt question by
accord_owner
I have a 97 Accord. I read that sometime after 1997, Honda started using a
better type of timing belt that lasts longer.
If I get my timing belt replaced by a Honda dealer, will they replace it
with the better timing belt, or will they still give me the older type of
timing belt?

Does this make sense? by
accord_owner
I took my 97 Accord in to a Honda dealer for maintenance today. They just
called and said they found out that the cover to something (I forgot what)
was leaking oil onto the spark plugs and spark plug wires. They said that
my car has an extended emissions warranty, but technically it does not...

97 Accord has 2 timing belts? by
[email protected]
Someone I know recently called a mechanic and asked about a timing belt change
for a '97 Accord. The mechanic said that there are actually 2 timing belts
that would need to be changed, and then he quoted a price that was a lot lower
than other places around here (he quoted $300 while other places...

What do you think about these prices? by
[email protected]
I went to the dealer this week to get some repairs done on my 97 Accord.
Here's what they charged:
4 Michelin Harmony tires: 4x117 = $468
cat converter heat shields: $190
front engine mount: $195
front brake pads and "machine the rotors": $300
adjust rear brakes: $60
They also said changing the...

Door seal/gaps by
[email protected]
I noticed on my 04 Accord coupe that the passenger side door doesn't
line up very well. The rubber seal at the very top, visible with the
door closed from the outside, doesn't make contact during the last 6
inches or so, starting from the rear of the door. Also, the tiny
horizontal ledge above the...
