Speaker Rain Baffles by gixer
My 2nd set of speakers in as many years have packed up, the culprit seems to be water getting in to the door and onto the speakers, (for some reason it always the left that seems worse). I have fitted new rain seals at the top of the doors but it still happens. I have seen that from the factory...

Live from Geneva by [email protected]
I've just watched the Live stream 'reveal' of the third generation MX5 from the Geneva show. It's interesting that the technology can do this but the picture's so small you couldn't see any details, a lot of drummers and a small red car. After keeping the M1 body virtually unchanged for ten years...

Rim & Tire Question by joe
Just a quick question. I've decided to go with 16" rims on my 95 MX-5 with Yokohama Avid H4S rubber. Question; will 16" screw up my cornering geometry or will it improve it? Other than a harsher ride just cruising, any pitfalls here? Appreciate any input.

What am I missing? by Randy Maheux
In 5 weeks I will be moving from San Diego to the Daytona Beach area. My problem is getting my Miata back east. I could drive it in 4 - 12 hour days or pay Mayflower to haul it with my furniture. Nine years ago I was a zombie after driving a Ford Ranger from Tampa to San Diego in 4 days. ...

Newby questions! by XS11E
What's the preferred cheapy manual for Miatas, Clymer, Haynes, ???? Can the clutch be adjusted? Mine released and engages way too high, I'd like it to be a little closer to the floor when it engages.

New top installed!!! by Tom Garrett
Over the weekend, my bride and I installed a new Robbins No-Zipper Glass window top on her Red 93. We followed the instructions that came with the top, and the four sets of instructions from Miatanet. We still had a major problem in that we forgot to re-fasten the cable until we had already done a...

Toyo Tyres Report by gixer
Had some T1-S 195 55/R14 Tyres fitted to the 14 x 6 7 Spoke, Hollowish wheels yesterday, ?290 the set. My previous tyres were 185/60 R14 Dunlop LM701 Le Mans tyres, although there was nothing Le Mans about them except that maybe you could get there and back without causing any...

Ride Report! by XS11E
When I sold my BMW R100RT http://members.cox.net/xs11e/R100rt1.jpg because I was no longer able to ride it, I figured I was finished with motorcycling but I finally decided I couldn't be without a bike so.... I got a replacement! Today I picked it up, got the title transferred, got the...

Disabling the console trunk release by XS11E
Since I can't lock my center console, this seemed like a very good idea but I'm unable to remove the lock? http://www.miata.net/garage/techtrunk1.html It says: "Two bolts hold the lock in place, remove them with a 10mm socket. The lock should now be free. The easiest way to remove the cylinder is...

Two visitors today! by XS11E
Today, Mr. Postman brought me the recommended book "Mazda Miata Enthusiast's shop manual by Rod Grainger and Pete Shoemark". I've looked at it very briefly and it seems like exactly what I need, thanks a bunch to gixer who recommended it, it's gonna be a life saver even though I'm probably not...

T1-S vs. ES100 in 14" size by josh
Hi all- How does the T1-S (195/55-14) compare with the Yoko ES100 (195/60-14) for Miata? Particularly are the Yoko's stiffer in the sidewall? Treadwear differences? I'm confident either tire will perform well both wet and dry pavement. I know everyone loves the T1-S... and I'm leaning...

KYB AGX for '95 by tooloud
I've been considering the installation of KYB AGX shocks on my '95 M-edition for several years now. I think I'm going to actually go ahead and have it done, but I have one question: I seem to remember that the AGX shocks aren't technically compatible with M1s with ABS, but that it's for a pretty...
