fs block and head by
peter
hi guys,
i have a block and head from my 95 for sale.
it is excellent to have the "new" motor ready to install rather than
having to pull the old motor and waiting for it to be machined etc.
the head is probably usable asis but the block would need to be
machined. i am in the middle of...

real oil gauge readings by
peter
hi,
part of rebuilding my s/c 95 m-ed was to replace the idiot oil
pressure guage with a real one from an earlier car, (93 i think).
went it is fairly cold, the gauge reads 30 + to almost 60# on higher
rev's but once hot, it reads less than 30 and as low as ~10#.
does this sound right?
i also...

hi,
i went to look at something in a defunct car dealer's lot which had
nylon rope across the driveway. the car easily went under the
rope...except the antenna which got yanked out. no big deal, it is
easily put back in. however, the threads on the mast unit are plastic
and are shot. i tried...

HI,
Since I have the drive train out and I can never keep it as clean as I
would like, I was considering painting some engine componets. any
pros/cons about painting the blower? I know that white would be best,
but I am sorta partial to aluminium :).
Also, recently I saw a pic of a miata with...
