I installed an aftermarket keyless entry in my '99 Accord and if I don't drive for a few days the battery gets drained. I connected the (+) wire of the keyless entry unit to a (+) lead from the battery and the (-) wire of the unit to ground. Is this not right? Any thoughts appreciated.

'95 Accord, 2.2, two door. Spedometer works intermittently. Spoke with Honda and apparently it's an electronic sensor that runs CDN$142.23. Where is the sensor located (bell housing or somewhere nearby I'd guess) and is it something that can be cleaned and/or replaced easily? TIA! Darryl.
