Apology by
Simon
Hello,
Just a quick apology to the group.
I just found this group yesterday and responded in a few threads. I have
just noticed that some of those threads are quite old. In fact I am
astounded to find that I am just now reading a thread from 2005. That is
astounding post retention.
Anyhow,...

Ping DB, Jeep 4.0 by
trippin-2-8-track
they all use the same block and engine architecture- you haven't
studied this long enough, or done enough hands-on work, to realize
that
if you took all those different AMC/IHC blocks and put them side by
side, they'd be identical- the only difference would be, how large the
holes were in them,...

Sebring power seat by
Jim DeLancey
I have a 04 Sebring convertible w/ 20000 miles. The power seat has stop
working. I have checked the 2o Amp Crk Breaker in the fuse box. It appears
to be fine. When I touch the switch I believe the seat every once in a
while starts to move, but just momentarily.
Any Ideas?
Thanks in...

04 Pacifica 3.5 engine knock by
SamIam
I have a Pacifica with a 3.5 with 48K that has a severe engine knock when
started. The only time it does this is when it has sat for more than 3 days.
Does anyone know if this engine has a oil check valve anywhere in the
engine, or maybe in the oil filter?
Thanks is advance-
Sam

94 Voyager Front Signal light access by
gtb
Greetings,
I am stumped. I need to remove the amber lens for the passenger side
front turn signal. Found a Torx15 on the outside and one that holds
the grille and the lens. Also removed the top trim piece. Surely it
can't be too difficult as it looks like it must be removed for...

I'm hoping someone has heard of this problem.
Drove my '93 caravan, 3.3, 4sp auto, 200K miles through a puddle and it
started misfiring. (I thought time for new wires). Next day she fired up
fine and drove fine for a week. And then it rained. She died after going
through a puddle. I believe the...

All this talk about running lights........... by
Pete E. Kruzer
Here is the low down on light bulbs:
The Dark Sucker Theory
For years, it has been believed that electric bulbs emit light,
but recent information has proved otherwise. Electric bulbs don't
emit light; they suck dark. Thus, we call these bulbs Dark Suckers.
The Dark...

Sebring MTC problem by
Spam Hater
Suddenly my wife's '91 Sebring has a problem with the Manual Temperature
Control.
-Only the high speed blower setting works.
-The vent selection doesn't work.
All fuses are OK.
Nothing else electrical seems in trouble.
My next step seems to pull that part of the panel off.
Ideas welcome.

We just replaced the brakes on a 1998 minivan and they worked fine then a
few days later they seemed to be slipping so we bled the brakes again but
now they have just stopped working altogether. I am thinking it has to be
maybe a valve or something that has gone wrong but am not sure. Does
anyone...
