SPOILER--again, don't read by
Elmo P. Shagnasty
So all that talk about Sandra being evil, and Sandra acknowledging her
strategy to everyone ("anyone but me, I'm da queen")...why the focus on
eliminating physical strength?
Sandra's strategy is very strong, and even worse: the longer it goes
on, the stronger she gets. I'd rather leave a...

Failing 2002 Odyssey trans by
Elmo P. Shagnasty
Honda previously offered 25% accommodation on this replacement. I
pursued this through my dealership's GM, and Honda has now upped that
offer to 50%.
I could try to chase after this through Honda corporate, but I've
decided to fix the car with the offer that's on the table and move on.
That...

economics of driving by
[email protected]
Dear Forumers,
Say I can choose between two cars. The gas mileage of the first car is
25. The gas mileage of the second car is 30. Let us say that the cost
of gas is 4$ per gallon.
The difference in gas mileage between the two cars is 5. So the
savings if I choose the leaner car is 4$ per...

Gas mileage question by
Elroy
I have one question, 2 different models of honda to apply it to.
I have a 2005 crv ex and my wife has a 2005 civic lxg.
What I want to know is, what is the "sweet spot" for highway cruising that
will give the best gas mileage?
I haven't paid much attention until the recent spike in gas prices, but...

Fast Idle Valve Disabled? by
[email protected]
My Civic '95 ESi (1.6L SOHC non-vtec D16 variant), had a high-idle
problem before. When warm, there was suction at the TB lower port
(which according to the manual, there shouldn't be). I temporarily
"fixed" the problem by blocking off the fast idle valve.
When started cold, the EACV seems to be...

Shuddering when taking off by
[email protected]
I've had this frustrating problem with my 95 Civic (SOHC 1.6L PGM-FI
non-vtec D16 variant, manual). It sometimes shakes/shudders when taking
off from a full stop. I could prevent the shuddering by stepping on the
gas more. I've replaced plugs, wires, rotor, PCV, timing belt, fuel
filter (all Honda...

95 Civic has no O2 sensor! by
[email protected]
Hello,
My 95 Civic ESi (Philippine domestic version) is a "stripped-down"
version of the U.S. EX model, I think. It has a 'PH16' engine (PGM-FI,
16Valve, 1.6Li, SOHC
non-vtec, ECU code P27) but has no oxygen sensor and no cat converter.
This is common knowledge here, and there is a plug where the...

Help! My 95 civic won't start by
[email protected]
Hello to everyone,
I was (foolishly, I know now) testing each cylinder of my 95 Honda ESi
by pulling on the plug wires one at a time. At the third plug, the
engine died and it won't start. I've read that doing this could break
the ignition coil. So I tested for a spark (none), and after...

Is there any Honda dealer in the US that sells the Civic at or near the

how do I find them?

94 Accord issues by
Emrehtoeht
I have two issues:
First, I just noticed clicking in the dash when after puting the key in
the ignition. The overhead light flashes with the clicks. The clicking
stops shortly after the key is removed from the ignition. Everything
SEEMS to be in working order though.
Second, the car has...

97 Accord starting problem by
[email protected]
This feels like a solenoid or relay issue: Turn the key, you hear an
electrical click, but no starter motor. Turn the key off and on
several times, and eventually, the starter motor fires up, and goes.
Lights don't dim down as you might expect with a poor connection on the
battery; battery is...
