'05 Pacifica or 300C by
mdrawson
I've been looking at the '05 Pacifica or the new 300C as a possible
purchase. I've also been watching this ng for any comments about the
reliability, workmanship, etc. of either --- and I haven't seen much
complaining (as you see about other cars on their ng sites).
Am I missing something here,...

Where's the Carbon Fibre Car? by
Art
Chrysler has a plastic molded car with a body made out of 2 pieces of
plastic. Saw it on some show. Intended for poor areas in Africa. We may
need it here soon in the US. Probably won't meet safety standards. Looked
like a plastic golf cart.

Intrepid rear weatherstripping by
Art
A friend bought a nice looking Intrepid probably a 2000. Anyway the
weatherstripping around both rear door openings fell out. Haven't seen
anything like that with my 99 300M. I tried working it back in but seemed
like it had shrunk. Anyone run into this?

Chrysler Voyager '94 second radio by
Mike De Petris
I want to put a second radio in the back (somwhere) of the car, so I want to
wire the speakers to the back of the car. I know I have power near the rear
12V lightener outlet, maybe there is a cable or place of the cd changer
cable, can I put wires in place of the cdchanger cable? But where? Is...

300m Cracking noise. by
Steve
I hear a cracking sound from the left wheel when braking or accelerating,
worse when I am breaking and turning to the left.
I have yet to take it back to the dealer because most of the time it does
not do it at all. I don't want to look stupid and maybe get hit with the
road test charge (they...

93 G Caravan Tranny Leak by
Mike
I have a 1993 Grand Caravan, 3.3 with 41TE Transmission. It was 278000 Km on
it. The tranny was rebuilt by a reputable tranny shop (not thru a Chrysler
dealer) at 195000 Km. All available upgrades at the time were incorporated.
The transmission has always, and still has all appearances of...

Crossfire discounts by
Steverino
I've seen dealers ads recently offering 10K reduction off the MSRP of the
Crossfire.
Has this car not sold well? It's not because it has a bad rep, is it? Or did
it not find its audience?
At 25K it would seem like a relative bargain- or is it? I never felt
confident plunking my money down on a...

1990 Dodge Spirit PRND2L indicator cable by
[email protected]
I had to remove the instrument cluster on this vehicle to try to fix
the odometer reset button.
After putting it back together, the PRND2L indicator is a little off.
When I was reconnecting the cable to the column sleeve, there did not
appear to be any way to make adjustments.
The cable slides in...

2001 300m passenger door handle(inside) by
Fiberman
Chrome plating peeling off and is very sharp, in fact I cut my hand on it.
The dealer wants $140.00 to replace it. Seems like an awful lot to me, any
suggestions?

Crank Case Sensor and rare stalling by
Treeline
1994 Voyager 3.0 liter Mitubishi
Getting near 200,000 miles.
As D. Stern responded a while ago, very sensitive
to the crankcase ventillation system. The entire
PCV system was supposedly checked and
Chrysler parts put in, even without asking me.
My independent mechanic decided to do a
tune-up that...

2001 neon fuse problem by
sirphunkee
My '01 Neon continues to blow the #10 fuse (15-amp) in the dash panel
after repeated attempts to isolate/diagnose the problem. I've worked
on it for months myself, and every dodge shop within a days drive of me
has had no better luck figuring it out.
The fuse blows while driving, and kills the...

93 Shadow Stalling by
Shane McBride
I have a 93 Shadow ES 2.5 liter. It runs like a gem, but every other
week or so it will just stop running. It will either start to sputter on
the highway or die at a stop light. I replaced the map sensor, and I
thought that fixed it, but after a few weeks it started again.
I had it towed twice to...

I have a 1998 Chrysler Sebring Lxi V6 2.5L Automatic transmission,
with 53,325 miles ... Ever since I bought this car back in January, I
have noticed something like a slight loud noise, almost like a whining
noise, or a fan noise, the car only does it when I accelerate, and the

90 Dodge Spirit - cold start & gas mileage by
exiledtiger
My daughter has a 90 Dodge Spirit, 4 cyl 2.5 L carb engine. It
occasionally has been hard to start when real cold (Wisconsin winter
cold, 10 degrees and lower), the gas mileage is not what I think it
should be (low 20's on mostly highway driving); and it has twice
stopped on her when driving (when...

trans. dipstick says use dexron III in 89 chrysler lebaron by
marks89lebaron
Just about everyone on the net claims using dexron II ATF is hazardous to a
chrysler auto. transmission. Yet right from the get-go chrysler
manufacturers claim that Dexron II is the preferred ATF type for (at least
this one) the 1989 chrysler lebaron. So its no wonder the transmission
shudders...
